So few weeks before beta starts, how many you think pre ordered?

    I thought a great idea for one of the betas (warhammer online) was they monitored just how many ppl signed up for it...

I think it would be a good idea to make the same kind of counter for pre orders unless it's not looking as high as projected, even though we still 2 weeks from just the beta stage yet.

Just maybe an idea if the numbers could show a good showing at this point :)

i think between 500 and 2500..

Yeah there has been no gameplay video so people who have preordered are putting A LOT of faith in gpg.

I didn't like Supreme Commander so for me it's DotA+Stardock. Good enough so to make a preorder.

Ditto on the DotA + Stardock.

Well they didn't get more preorders than Age of Conan otherwise it would be everywhere on gamer news.

totally agree...Icefrog has done a great job taking over the game and balancing it to make it a mainstream competitive game, and it just keeps growing in popularity, especially over seas

I was instantly attracted to this game when I heard it was inspired by DotA. I also really liked the concept of SupCom, although it was pulled off somewhat sloppily; I still had a lot of fun just marveling and the extremely epic battles that took place. When I then read some articles about this game, and how they are going to focus on the gameplay before graphics, and how they teamed up with stardock, and just other things I've read, it feels like they really want to make a good game. Now I'm very excited to help them make this game (and get an early sneek peek) when the beta comes around.
