i just wanted to let everyone know that both JustinSane and i saw this message, and we're already getting started. as my first act as Co-Commissioner, i'm hereby issuing a 21 particle beam salute to SilverBeacher for his hard work, leadership and dedication to the league over the past several months. SB, had it not been for you, i don't think we'd have a league at all.

if you didn't vote and support the league then you should have start in the frickin hole next round. Silver and others have done a lot to keep this going as long as it has and keep it fun and interesting. I would of resigned as well of in his shoes, buncha non appreciative.....

Dystopic and I are honored to serve as Co-Commissioners, particularly given how ably that position has been filled by Commissioners-Emeritus Neilo and SilverBeacher.  We both have enjoyed playing in the Metaverse League for some time and look forward now to helping keep it going strong.  Fundamentally, the league exists to be fun, and has done wonderfully at that.  We'll do whatever we can to make sure that it stays fun for all Metaverse League members and that the Metaverse League will continue to offer all of us an opportunity to enjoy working as part of a team in competition and try game settings and victory types that we otherwise might never try.  To that end, we'll aim to work closely with each other to make sure that the MVL operates smoothly and as the body of MVL members would like it to.  It's been awhile since round 10 ended, and we like to play  , so our aim is to start round 11 this Saturday.  There are one or two slight changes to round settings that were proposed in the round 10 thread that seemed to be popular, so we are planning on trying at least one of those.  More details will be coming shortly.  We look forward to having fun with all of you going forward!

Good news!

Small update, everyone-

by now members of teams A, C and E should have received a PM from me requesting confirmation of their intention to play in round 11. JustinSane will be doing the same for teams B and D, as well as players who signed up towards the end of last round. i didn't PM a couple people who formally withdrew, but just in case i missed anyone, if you haven't gotten a PM from me or JustinSane by tomorrow, please say something!

also, just so it's no great secret to teams B and D, here's the jist of the message.

The we are planning to being round 11 this Saturday, which is a big part of the reason we've askd for PM confirmations of everyone's participation.

We think round 11 will be exicting because we will be trying some new things. I don't want to give everything away too soon, and i don't think it'll be too much of a surprise to announce early that we'll be piloting an "all victory, mixed settings" round.  We'll announce the details of how this will work later, but suffice it to say we're hoping a couple of the things we're doing will create an interesting, even exciting round, encouraging greater team cooperation and adding new dimensions to how teams go for bonus points. So that'll be all for now, hope to see you all back for round 11, and please feel free to bring a friend!

I got the PM guys, but i will still sit out for a while though. I'll keep a close on the MVL for any changes and won't rule out returning in the future.

I'm definitely in, gives me a reason to take a break from messing around with characters in NWN (the downside of being an altoholic, I've got tons of characters, but the farthest I've gotten in the OC is chapter 2...)
