My last token on TGN

What to buy?

Alright, I have one token left, and since Impulse won't support them, I'll spend it right now.

Originally I wanted to get Etrom, but it seems that it is not compatible with Vista. After the refund, I still have my token left.

So, any suggestions what I should buy?

Star Assault looks interesting, but it's more than 1 token. Heli Heroes perhaps? I already got the two expansion packs to Imperium Romanum, or they would be my choice.

Heli Heroes is fun for the occasional "shoot'em up". I can't comment on Etrom though, I thought about buying it once but didn't because of lack of time to play anyway, but I think there are better games of the genre on the market - for a higher price of course.

Does it run under Vista?

The requirements only list XP, and after Etrom, I'm a bit more cautious. ;)

Heli-Heroes does run on Vista. ;)

You can purchase more tokens by contacting [email protected] as well, but only enough tokens to complete your desired purchase.

I just had the same thing....1 last token. I got evil islands after reading some reviews on it. I am just getting into it but seems like a solid fun RPG.

Beg pardon, but what's this about Impulse not using TGN tokens? I thought (wrongly assumed, I guess) that was just a temporary problem.

I have seven tokens in reserve and had intended to spend them on the fantasy TBS and its first expansion. Am I going to be screwed by the eventual decommissioning of SDC?

AFAIK the token system will disappear with SDC. But you can spend your remaining tokens.

Yep, although I'm debating if there are enough interesting games still out there that the cheaper token pricetag as opposed to pure money is worth it.

Demigod is still tokenbased, Star Assault, ...

Any chance of getting a flightsim like Wings over Europe on TGN?

You can download games you bought with tokens, you just can't spend them in the Impulse store; use the totalgaming.net site instead. We'll continue putting our games on TGN for a while (assumably including the fantasy game) so people can get leftover tokens spent.

I don't see why not. Just like you can buy PM2008 with tokens and use Impulse to update it. PM2008 is only available on Impulse (not SDC), so it's the perfect example.

some of the Games on TGN are sooooo old.

How come not many main review sites review Star Assualt. I thought the star wraith series of games from 3D games should be added to TGN, that space combat flight sims is good arcade fun.

I think it would also be good if Derek Smart's game gets on TGN. Only if he is interesed in partnering with ZD.

Probably because Star Assault has only been released in retail in Europe. ;)
