As part of our ongoing effort to give subscribers more bang for their buck, we added professional skins to the subscription package earlier this year.  To start things off we released Stardust, a new skin by Adni18.  Today we're ready to release another skin, and give you a hint of what's next in the pipeline.

Our second Subscriber-Only skin is Rockstar by community veteran Hippy!

Rockstar turns your desktop into concert stage with the look and feel of classic guitars, speakers and amps.  Rockstar comes with 6 great substyles, letting you pick exactly the kind of amp you want.  It's the perfect skin for music enthusiasts, especially the rockers out there.

There's a slight 'diviation' in the scollbar sliders, in the 5151 substyle.

Just a minor observation ;)

It's a free WindowBlinds skin for WinCustomize Subscribers.  If you want the full suite you would need the MyColors version.

At the risk of getting flamed here... I'm kind of disappointed. The icons are amazing, but the windowblind is just blah. I like the amp start menu, but the window frames (the most important part of a blind, imo) are just hideous. Sorry, but that's just my opinion. Still, I will probably buy the mycolors suite just for the icons.

I have a wincustomize subscription, yet I will be getting the full Rockstar suite for MyColors (using the OD discount, so where is the free skin? I am not in this for free skins, it was something offered to wincustomize subscribers, so far I have got RIP (which I had paid for) for "free", and now Rockstar which will be "free" even though I am going to buy the suite. Your most loyal clients, guys like me who subscribe to wincustomize, buy full OD, buy premium suites and MyColors suites are getting the short end of the stick. Is it too much to expect that free skins for being a subscriber to wincustomize to be free wincustomise subscriber only skins (like Stardust)?

G4E: They're free.  If you choose to buy the full suite, you get a $5 discount.  You're not getting a short end of any stick just because we offer a larger paid version of something we provide for free.

Note to Hippy:

I'm not a skinner, but I am a musician and I do know a little about quality! RockStar is so kewl it's just insane! I mean a Marshall amp start menu, a guitar pick for a start button and control knobs for sizing? It's a music lovers dream and you can't help but to fall in love with the dynamically unique details, 'cause there ain't nobody outside of WC rockin' like this! This piece of artistry is an honor and privilege to own!

Check your WB settings.

Three problems. When using the taskbar, at the top, the taskbar buttons are to low.
The StartMenu "log off & turnoff computer" mouseovers are off.
Also, there is a "15" second delay, when waiting for the My Computer or Control Panel menu's to pop out, on the Start Menu.

My Vista system has always been slow that way with or without WB running.It got better with SP1 but still kind of lags. I am not so sure that is a WB thing. In my case. :)
