If you're open to ideas, I think you should make different textures for gas giants mostly because I think your planet texture work is amazing and I haven't the slightest clue for a new planet type :NOTSURE:

ya, the textures sure are nice ^^ the planets look stunning. Now that Uzi's mod died, (taken over by Danman, but still mainly used only in his cluster of mods) it will be nice. i just hope you stay solo with it, nothing against Dan but i prefer to make my own mods and i hate picking through other peoples work to find one specific thing. by the way, just to make it easier later on, if you modify the string file can you put the new info at the very top? its a very big file to search for changes in >.<

A dead planet? A planet with a massive crater with cracks in the crust stretching across the planet, lava oozing out of the cracks from the inner layers

I have not been able to work on my planets for about a week and I have been going crazy! My computer got fried and I am having to download all of my programs and all of that good stuff onto my PoS Laptop.

Hope to have an update soon! Keep up the Ideas!

A storm planet: a planet that is covered with storms of all varieties(if at all possible, an animation effect of sorts that makes it look like lightning is appearing?)

Twin Planets?? No seriously, that is what I mean...make two seperate spheres in XSI and then apply your insanely awsome textures to them...These "planets" would have larger gravity wells and would be essentially those two planets in one...they would have higher upgrade levels for all things, so they would be pretty contested...

Also, like was said earlier, make more Gas Giant textures, as is, just one is kinda blan...I mean in our SS, we have a yellow, red, blue, and greenish blue...

Hey like was said before by Cobalt, don't stop going solo...even if you're in 7DS, don't quit working on it yourself...keep it individual as well.

I would love to put this in the second version of my Olympus mod...

Hmm whats about a Junk Planet, where masses of Junk has been store over centurys.
Or a Rocky Planet, a Swamp like or Jungle like Planet would also be great ^^

So lets see...
-Jungle Planet
-Industrial Planet
-Junk Planet (Increased trade due to inexpensive parts or something)
-Mountain Planet
-Crystal Planet (Could have a huge crystal output)

I probably missed some but I like all of these ideas!

My only nitpicks are the agricultural world, that just doesn't make sense. To be able to see those plantations from space they'd have to be hundreds of square kilometers. No fields are that big, even on a planet dedicated to growing stuff. It'd have hundreds of thousands of normal sized fields. And the paradise planet, doesn't really have a tropical look. It's kinda dingy and overcast, and not very pleasent looking. Aside those two the rest look great. I'd like to see some urban planets too.

hmm i also like the idea of a planet cover with a single Organic being, like in one of the Perry Rhodan books ^^
