Remembering the "Hippy dippy weatherman"

http://www.cnn.com/2008/SHOWBIZ/06/23/carlin.obit/index.html?eref=rss_topstories

  George Carlin passed away yesterday.

Remembered well for his "7 dirty words you can not say on televsion", I loved his sense of humor.  As the  hippy dippy weatherman... "Tonight's forecast: Dark. Continued dark throughout most of the evening, with some widely-scattered light towards morning." still makes me smile.

God is gonna have his hands full with that one, looking forward to heaven more now that he's there... know it'll be fun!
will miss his wit here though. he always had something new to add to his repertoire each time you saw him perform.

I hope he asks about that transubstantiation thing..
that was always one of my favorite little ditties he did, "genuflect, genuflect,genuflect..."

Many may not have liked his style or agreed with his outlook but he was funny as hell and usually had a good point.

I always liked him. I use a wav file of him in a few of my DX themes, for the sound of the recycle bin: "I'll be right back...I gotta take a dump!" lol Good ol' George.

Same here. He had a way of making you laugh and, at the same time, think ... about the strange things in the world.
