Good game! If I was going to be picky it feels a bit too arcade like at times. A touch more realism would be good. Think X3

Size / scale of planets to cap ships:
Planets should be a lot bigger with moons, asteroids, and bases that ships could patrol.

Universe structure:
there should really be only a 3 or 4 (at the most) planets per solar system and more solar systems. Conflicts could take place across a spiral arm of a galaxy or something

Fleet size:
Fleets are generally too big. There is a major performance hit should a number of large fleets meet. Make ships more expensive!

Models:
In place of huge fleet sizes the ship models could be more detailed as they can look a bit 'cartoon' like.

Effects:
The weapon / ability effects can be greatly overstated at times which adds to the arcade like feel to the game.

Fleet movement and tactics.
There should be more options with regard to fleet movement, formations, and position. (think rome total war in 3D). Ships / groups within a fleet could be assigned tactics like hit and run, skirmish, flank etc. This would make battles a much more strategic affair rather than a simple matter of who has the most and biggest ships.

All the above stated, this is still a good game and very well supported by all accounts. Would hope that the support for the Mod community will increase after 1.1.

Its just the lag / stutter issues which deter me from playing it very much.

I want to be able to go to a teammate's defense and have my fleet arrive less than 20 minutes after I ordered it to go.

I'd like to see some voice over work for capital ships. This would mostly be for the cinematic stuff but I'd like to see things like hull breach reports (basically damage control comm traffic).

A first person or cockpit camera view for fighters.

Bigger planets and asteroids. The planet to capital ship scale is out of wack.

okay,okay...great ideas.you know what i would like,if you could see the cities on the planet and customize them like for example you want to build a skyscaper you scroll down to the planetary menu select the one you like and place it anywhere on the planet.

It's been mentioned before, but I would like different options for winning. Or different tools/strategies to win.

A political system would be nice. You get different bonuses/handicaps for the political system you take. Make your gaming experience your own.
Maybe something like planetary bribes. If your target planet has low allegience, you could bribe the population to your side.
Showing up to a system with an impressive planetary bombard fleet just might swing the inhabitants to your side. Or just kill 'em anyway like it is now.  :D 
An ingame battles won/lost tracker. So, if you invade a system and take heavy losses before retreating, your population will judge you to be an ass and this could effect things like production and or tax income. It's their sons and daughters piloting the ships your sacrificing. If you repel an enemy attack, your popularity skyrockets.
Different political parties allow for different dyplomacy options. I will stress that this is a wishlist of mine. I'm not asking to be flamed for reasons why it couldn't or shouldn't be done.
I like the game as it is as well.

I would want the devs to play Seven Kingdoms and Seven Kingdoms 2 and implement merely half of the ideas in those games.

In mid game:

Plug in the Joystick and BE THE FIGHTER!!!

When you are in the middle of a big battle, and are bored, you might want to turn SINS into a quick action game, you can save the game before the battle, and be the fighter over and over, without dooming your fleet to destruction because you were too busy flying around to notice that extra MARZA that entered the system...

I like Deadpool ideal, of a political system. It would help to explain why there are TEC factions, that fight each other, instead of a united front. One TEC faction went with the political system, of a home world, and other went with planetry control, and this is why there are TEC, fighting TEC and Vasari fighting Vasari and Advent fighting Advent.

The option should work even if you don't have fighters or bombers in the fleet, and it could suspend the rest of the galaxy for processor speed...

(not sure if this is in the game) if your vasari, and your allies are Vasari, any you both have phase stabilizers, you should be able to jump from your stablizers to your allies stabilizers :CONGRAT:

i disklike many of the ship designs, some like the kodiak are terrible whereas others like the javelis lrm look wrong,they just dont fit in.

I would like to see more live in the galaxy, the game has proven that rebels and corporations can have military ships. So why not see a bunch of civilan ships? I would love to see TEC cruise ships, or Advent civis making a haji to a planet, or a vasari slave ship. They could refeclt about how wealthey the system is or how bad it is. a refuge ships retreating to a another planet. civlian ships would also be a good target for pirates so you could attack them and give your cap ships some experiance.

Id like to see the defense values changed slightly, with some new defenses added. Say maybe making the hangar defense taking up only 2 or 3 tac slots instead of 4, and adding a more powerful defense. I mean, lets be honest. If you have 4 hangar defenses and like 16 gauss defense cannons surrounding a planet and a couple of capital ships show up supported by a handful of destroyers and cruisers, you might as well kiss that planet godd-bye unless you send a fleet to help defend. I would like to see something like an orbital defense platform, with something like a MAC gun, something that can actually go toe to toe with a capital ship or two. Let it have a few secondary guns so it can fight off those pesky fighters and bombers. And then give it a decent cost, say that of a capital ship or maybe less, being it is stationary. Have it take up like 5 or 6 tactical slots. But I think you also need ot let some of the planets have more tactical slots as well, so you dont have to worry about your forces getting spread so thin and getting so far from one particular planet. And some story driven single player missions would be nice too.

I don't know what the engine is capable of but I would love to see a revamped scale of Sins. What I mean is to make planets bigger therefore make ships faster to go around them and suns way bigger, by doing this we could finally add real scale moons to the game along with bigger asteroids as the current size is a few capital ships put together. If we added moon models it would be nice to be able to build on them like a planet or asteroid but in between the two scales. So if the asteroid can hold 20 pop the planet can hold 200 average then maybe moons could hold 50 or so? It would add a new dimension to the game play as if you started off with a moon on oyur base you could colonize that right away without a fleet making the game have a faster start as well. It would also look nice. There should also be some more textures made for planets, some should resemble our solar system to like make a texture like Earth and more colors for gas giants such as green blue black if it is possible to have a black gas giant in real life. Some more planet types would be nice as well things like the toxic and oceanic planets from Sins Plus I find really good but others such as "The Old Naval Base" planet just suck no offense. To see some professionally done upgrades though would be really nice, I mean modders are awesome but professionally done stuff is "usually better."

There is going to be a Star Wars Mod. When? When they get it done. Also, Danman's 7 Deadly Sins Mod is going to incorporate the Star Wars mod when Star Wars is completed.

I would like to see the AI controlled ships move while shooting. Right now, both side stop and shoot at each other. Doesn't seem realistic. In naval battles, ships continuously move to try and get the best position in battle. This would hold true for space battles. Right now it like like 2 sitting ducks shooting at each other. Obviously the one with more firepower and health is going to win. More work on the AI. Also, would like to see some lasers or missiles coming from the Hangars, shipyards, reasearch centers, etc. Doesn't have to be a lot. Maybe throw in some sort of orbiting battlestation with some heavy artillery.
