This had begun as a collection of starships based upon the Star Fleet Universe and other sources and has now evolved into the development of a full complete mod.

What you can expect to see:
9 custom major races to choose:
United Federation of Planets; Klingon Empire; Romulan Star Empire; Kzinti Hegemony; Lyran Star Empire; Hydran Kingdom; Gorn Confederation; Tholian Holdfast; and the Interstellar Concordium.

8 Custom minor races.

Custom technology trees and weapons set up for each race.
Custom player useable shipstyles for every race.

2 Custom Immense Maps: "Federation and Empire" and "The General War"

Custom Campaign: "ISC Invasion"

Hey AF, just to let you know, mabye instead of the includingthe Geckodons , mabye you could include the Vudar Enclave instead. Also I have a suggestion, if you do a second addition of the Hydran style you should include the the Pegasus PFT,

Also, I have an idea for a Tholian beam type weapon, it's called the Acid Web Launcher, basicly it fires a web made out a plasma that tears apart any ship that it come in contact with, and will even pierce through shields and armor. Basicly it does 100 damage.

Hi guys.  Not sure when I'm getting back to work on this but wanted everyone to know that the rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated.

 

Glad people are still downloading the ships.  I've ideas for new ones but when I get done with them who knows.

We somehow kept going fine without you dead or alive XD ... but since you're asking; i'm waaayyyy deep into Apocalypsion ships & fleets (hate the current design for THE dimension probe given the limited set of default structures available, but that's quite okay for now!) and ended up with about 10 different Lightnings for X-Com. Most of which still pending approval by Kryo (eventually) since i make extensive use of his KHSM features.

Credits given, credits deserved!

Hummm, glad to see you around AF.  Wondered if it would be okay to release the Paravians and Carnivons ships into the Library?  Or do they need to remain hidden for now?

I need to release the Kzinti ships again.  It wasn't until I loaded all the ships together in to a single folder that I found the Kzinti and the Gorn had a similar ship class name.

 

So I'll fix that and upload the Carnivons and Paravians.  And since its been so long I should add bonus pack 2.

Just an idea, perhaps instead of including the Borg, Cardassians and Ferengi as playble races, perhaps you should include the Vudar Enclave, Jindarians and perhaps the Peladine Republic which can find more info on at http://www.peladine.com/. Also about having the Geckodons as a minor race, well I uploaded a ship style for them a while back, (link)

I tried to download the Federation ship pack at the library.  The intructions read:

"Simply unzip files (except for the ShipCFG folder) to their appropriate folders in C:\documents and settings\my documents\my games\GC2Twilight arnor\

Now for the Ship CFG folder:

Do not overwrite your ship CFG folder! Take the files provided in the pack and copy to:

C;\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\Twilight\Data\Ship CFG"

Here's the problem...I use Windows Vista.  This seems to happen a lot.  I have access to the second thread, although it's actually c:\Program Files86\ (or some similar number)etc.

I do not have the thread c:\docs and settings\my docs\ my games\etc.

I had to search for it and the only one similar was in program files?!?

Can someone understand my gibberrish and offer a bit of advice?  I can see the ships and dockyard pics when I click on them OUTSIDE the game, in my "C" drive files.  I know they are on my computer.  I can't access them in the game.  Also, there is no option to activiate this "mod" in my options menu for the game.  Thanks for anyone's help.

First is here... C:\Users\(Your ID as currently logged on Vista)\My Documents\My games...

Second is where Twilight was installed and running from.

Although not a "direct" MOD, these shippacks can use the default ShipCFG folder.

Hi everyone,

I've just bought GalCiv2 Ultimate Ed from Steam and happened upon the Federation Ship Third Ed and I'm having trouble getting it to work. Now I know what you're thinking, it's Steam, the folders are in a different directory and that I've copied the files incorrectly. Well it really wasn't that hard to find the equivalent directories to copy the files into, I'm sure I've done that right. So then, maybe I'm missing something? Perhaps... would I need to install this Kryo's Hull System V2.0 I keep reading about?

In any case, I've had a look at the pictures of these ship designs and I'm very impressed, personally I'm too lazy to go to all that trouble. :p

very old thread here, but did i hear mention of a tech tree i'm missing?  awesome mod by the way.  very well done.
