(resolved) No custom races in Twilight of the Arnor???

I just did a clean install of Twilight of the Arnor from Stardock Central, without having the beta version installed or such. Everything works fine otherwise, but when I set up a new game, the create custom race button on the opponent setup screen is disabled. Has anyone had this problem?

Resolution: If you had the beta, make sure you delete the gc2twilight directory from my documents\my games\. We will issue an update later this week that will automatically remove the data for later installs.

I strongly suggest that everyone with an NVIDIA video card update their drivers to Forceware Version 174.74 or higher (aka 7.15.11).  This version of the driver is entirely rebuilt (for GeForce 6, 7, 8 and 9 series cards) with lots of bug fixes.

I tried to download and install it, it says that no compatible hardware was found and aborted the installation. On Nvidia homepage it is listed as Geforce8/9 driver only

What card do you have? Is it integrated? Is your machine a laptop?

On the other page you can see my debug.err with more information, its a geforce 6600 gt agp not integrated, desktop pc

Did everything suggested - deleted the Twilight folder from My Games - still greyed out.
I don't get it? How can this be resolved?

That is the exact card I have and I just got finished installing the 174.74 driver with no problems. Did you get it from this page, because that page says it supports the 6 series cards.

I installed the new Nvidia Driver. FYI you can look and see what cards it's for there is a button for that. The series 6-7-9 patch covers like 40 cards or so. It fixed some choppiness I was experiencing. I was curious if someone actually resolved the bug? I never used Beta I simply purchased the game day before yesterday flat out and installed it. It appeared under purchased games on my stardock central and Viola. No beta. Beta not issue. Button disabled for me.

The problem with the custom races button being greyed out has been fixed by a game patch Stardock released yesterday. The NVIDIA driver update is recommended for those having, er, graphics issues. :)
