That is funky.  Not reproducable with FF, but is reproducable in IE6

I'm using ie7
it's only that thread, and if I try to go to that thread, it puts up that warning, and you can see the thread, but as soon as you click ok, it goes to the cannot display page. if you try to hit the back button you're stuck in the thread loop and have to go to the dropdown to get back to where you started.

oh, and this has happened before to another thread, can't remember which one, but thought it was just a bug on my end till it happened again.

Something on the page in a reply or the post body is causing that. We see it frequently with IE. Thank god that the 'operation aborted' issue has been fixed with IE8.

I see it alot with IE6 but not with 7. If I navigate back, it will usually load.

I just checked...it does it on that one too. I posted a reply to it this morning (was at work) on IE6. I have IE7 at home and can't access it.

IE 8 isn't out yet is it?

I have a VM with XP and IE8 . .haven't played with it much yet.

Beta for IE8 is out, but I would wait a while before downloading it. Usually early releases of IE are meant for developers and programmers. Not really ready for prime time yet.

I would definitely wait on IE8. A lot of features were disabled in the beta. Not sure what they've got running in it now, but a month ago it wasn't pretty......

As for the 'operation aborted' pop-up..... I've had it happen running IE7.
