Ironclad, I appreate the work you did to try and improve multiplayer chat, but having to tab every time to talk to your allies is a pain in the you know where.

I think they said they were changing it to get rid of lag when chat comes up but after seeing the changes I would rather take any amount of lag rather than try and chat in game after the patch.

Couple of topics have been made about this. All agree. =P

Again, though, I'll restate.

Bring back color, and bring back sticking, but keep the allied chat where it is now, right after all, not in last place.

I agree with the need to bring color and sticking back, but allied chat was always one hit away. You just had to hit shift+tab once to get there.

The cange they made to the allied chat....

... in having to tab every single freakin time to chat to an ally is by far the most terrible in-game patch change I have ever experienced. It takes what was once at least a fairly convinient chat system, and turned it into a devolved form of what looks like was some wak ass beta chat system.

It just makes no sense... It must have been the stupid rich guy no one likes, but owns 51% of the shares idea.

You can shift-tab to reverse the order of the cycle through the list.

I'm on board with this. It makes no sense at all.

Also, can we PLEASE get the ally chat to be a slightly different color? That way you know if your teammates are talking to just Allies or everyone.

By the by: I've had a lot of teammates screw up and talk sensitive data to "All" because of this. There needs to be some emergency patch or something. It's funny- but after awhile it starts to ruin games.
