I can't open or save email attachments. Both options are grayed out. Can anyone help me in fixing this?
My son recently sent me a picture of my newborn grandson and I can't open the attachment. Thank you in advance.
I am using winXP home edition.

In Outlook Express go to Tools.
Click Options.
Click the Security tab.
Uncheck 'Do Not Allow Attachments To Be Saved Or Opened That Could Potentially Be A Virus'

Thanks pictoratus. Such a simple solution. I feel so stupid.
I sent an email to myself with an attachment and it now works. Thanks again.
