Smilies acting strange...

Hello peoples,

Am I the only one today who cannot see any smilies in the forums??

I keep getting those annoying little x's

oh, and some forum pages dont show the bar on the side with  the categories and recent activity.

I posted in the proper thread, and am currently seeing smilies again, though alot of the images that are posted arent showing up on my browser. I figure they will figure it out eventually and since they know there is an issue, this thread can probly die now.  :D

If you could post the URL of the failing images it might help.

For example . . the smiley in your last post is http://images.stardock.com/smiles/BigSmile.gif and your avatar is http://images2.stardock.com/1/45/145379/icon.jpg

It is possible that something on yoru sytsem is blocking that address or one similar

Z...that happened right here in this post. Been happening the last few days. Nothing changed on my system that would be causing it. ;)

And just after posting this it worked fine again. Go figure! ;p

Confirmed. I posted this on one of the forum bug lists. Sporadically smily face box only opens halfway in FF. #74 here

Forums are not a very good way to track bugs. Unless someone is entering every bug into a bug tracking sw db, it turns into a clunkle funk.

I also, on occasion, had my smilies not download and get the broken image icon instead. Doesn't happen very often, but it's happened.
