How do I make a certain ship the leader of a fleet? Every time I make a fleet, it's always a cruddy frigate instead of a Capital Ship!

I think, but am not certain, that if you click on the ship you want to be the leader and then drag a box over the rest of the fleet and select the form fleet button that the ship you have selected will be the leader.

Its a pain, once inside a fleet I usually reform a fleet to change a leader! There is a slight difference thou when it comes to capital ships. If a capital is in a fleet but not a leader and you want it to be the leader, make the current leader leave fleet. It will reassign it to the capital ship.

Use the TAB key to select the leader when you have selected all the ship in your fleet

The fleet leader is the primary selection (its border on the empire tree will be the whitest, everything else will be dim). So just tab through your selection until you have the specific ship you want.

That said, I always get a capital ship as the fleet leader whenever I band-box a mess of ships and form fleet.
