Loading a saved game, missing files?

When my friends and I try to loaded a saved game it said we are missing files, even though we have saved the game... Is there a way to fix this or what is it?

Is that how it works? I saved a multiplayer game which was running long, figuring we could just continue later on. Do I need to send that saved game file to my friend (and have him drop it into his saved game directory)?

If you (might need to be the host) save it should save for everyone, but if you save after someone drops/leaves, they won't have that save and you will need to send it manually.
