Peace Treaty

My understanding was that you couldn't attack someone for a period of time after you revoked a peace treaty. I'm just wondering what that period was, because I just got stabbed immediately after the other guy revoked it. I'm not complaining, he outplayed me, but I DID think I had a grace period to get my fleet back to defend...

When the dude revoked your peace treaty, and when you have that timer go on. that give you time to get ready, their for you are able to get ready when he send his ship to you. plus, always keep a small fleet & defense at every plant. i find it helpful.
