Color Coded Graphic Ship Damage Chart

Printable for Reference

Credit goes to ZenLunatic for digging up the data and the original formatting, I just wanted to put together a "at a glance" chart with some color coding that I could print out for reference. I might clean it up or do a nicer version later as a PDF but figured the community might like it as-is.

Updated "pretty" version based upon feedback:

Click here for the old printer friendly version.

Suggestions, and corrections are welcome.

Very nice work. great job. If you update it I suggest putting the official URL on it as well as the logos for SD/IC just for that extra bling and artistic flare.

Thanks. I made a "pretty" version based on your feedback, but kept a link to the old one without all the graphics so it's easy to print.

Awesome about the counter diagram, yeah I was going to go back and try to find a nice diagram from some other RTS's on my shelf to come up with a way to better show counters, but Sins is pretty unique in that there really are no sure fire rock->paper->scissor type counters for all situations.

So for any hardcore player, they're going to be more interested in the actual percentages rather than a simplistic use this ship type vs. this ship type diagram that won't necessarily be true. :)

Something for the community to mull over. The biggest improvement would be to present all this in a easier to figure out format while keeping all the numbers intact. If I could only tear myself away from the game, I might actually have some time to think on it!

no problem here with sticking it in your blog, glad to see it being of use to everyone.

Awesome chart. Advent LRM Frigates have light armor, though (although they do Capital damage).

Cool! I'm always thinking about spin.

Anyway I think your work has the honor of being the first community project to be "adopted" by the devs - congrats!

Fixed! Must have slipped in when I was copying/pasting the fields. BTW Thanks for taking the initiative to pull out all that ship data and post it for us too Zen.

Medium armor/dmg is back to green too.

Hi all.

Quick question. How out of date is the data in this lovely set of tables? I would absolutely love for it to be updated to the latest values if it is indeed out of date. Or perhaps let me know where I can find the infomation in the game files to do it myself?

Cheers.

Its really out of date.

Check the gameconstants file for the update info under the gameinfo folder.

Yes, I noticed the stickied thread a little bit after I posted this. I only found this thread through google. before actually look in the forums.

Nonetheless, thanks for the information Ryat, much appreciated :).
