TigonZ, the game is all set. It is called Pogue Mahone 2/24, and the password is the one I PM'ed you. We'll give you about 5 more minutes to join, then we're going to have to start whether you're there or not.

Joe and Bhruic.......I can resume our game tonight, Tuesday night or Wednesday night. Basically any night except Thursday. So let me know which nights are best for you and we'll try and set it up!

Any of those nights are fine for me.

Realistically, I think our game only has about 30-45 mins left in it anyway, so it should be a short session.

No, it's worse than that. I go to a friend's house to watch Survivor. After having a kid it's the only night of the week that I can routinely get away.

Since we only got about an hour left in the game, I'd like to push our start time back to 8:30 if that's cool.

Well I did warn you it was worse than watching Lost! But anyway, that was a good game we finished up last night. A bit easy though I'd say. Maybe next time we can go for hard AI or player vs player. I'll post here on the forum when I'm planning on hosting another game.....maybe this weekend or something.

I agree, that game was a bit on the easy side. Which is odd, considering it was a 3 on 4, but.. whatever. It was probably because of Brhuic; he really is the # 1 ally.


What i really dont get is why I was only attacked once the entire game. Up untill the very end (when me and Bruic were helping you out in your system), I only had a tiny military consisting of 1 Cap. and five light firgates, which was stationed off at the red galaxy, clearing away neutrals. If the Light blue (the AI closest to me) had attacked me at any time during that game, i would most likely have been devastated.

I think switching to Hard AI would have made it a little tougher. Part of the ease of victory was the fact that we hammered the same AI twice with the Pirates right off the bat, and I followed the Pirates in and took that AI out. That left only one in our system, which we could tag-team. Pogue was the one having troubles, but we were fast enough taking out our AIs that we could come to his aid in time. After that, it was pretty easy.

Against Hard AIs, we would have had more attacks/counter-attacks, which would have changed the pace of the game - we might not have won our system fast enough to get to Pogue's aid. It certainly would have been more challenging, regardless. I'd probably recommend it for our next game.

On topic though; Bruic, I think thats the best way to go from now on. The last game we played was too easy; there wasnt nearly enough suspense for me. Although, it was probably very different for Pouge, since he had a 2 on one, but I think he can manage it.

I just learned how to make my own maps with the Galaxy Forge tool so I've been playing around with that.

Tonight's not good for me but I am hoping to start up another game during the week. I'm thinking Tuesday.

Anyone interested in a game tonight at 8pm let me know! I'm thinking player team vs hard AI team, but I'm open to suggestions.

Hey! It's been a while since I hosted a game! I have some free time tomorrow(Friday) night though, and I'd love to have a crack at hosting another one, probably at 8pm eastern. If anyone is interested let me know! Also, I have Ventrilo now so I can do in-game voice chat too.
