weapon effects

from Sins Forums
entire game works fine
except after awhile most particle effects disappear (weapon projectiles, explosions, etc)

any ideas?

Try turning up the particle count in your user.config file.

XP: C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Setting

Vista: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Setting

Edit user.setting using Notepad (don't use Wordpad or Word or something).

Increase MaxParticleCount 6000  to something higher (try 8000 to start).
