Could someone please help me build a fleet?

Make sure you read the rules to make sure you can use all those ships. You also need paint and glue.

Just out of curiosity, what cruisers do you want to build?

remember, if i do end up PLAYING the game, then it will only be with my friend, and not anyone else (i dont do tornaments). its mostly just for looks, although i may have the occasional game. i have already been to their website, but its all too expensive. i could drop some ships, but its still over priced.....does anyone know where i can find second hand imperial ships? and i dont know what cruisers i want to build, tyrants if i can find em, but thats about it

ok, ive narrowed my selection down to 1 retribution class battleship, and 4 imperial cruisers. judging by the web site, im guessing the cruisers are fully custimisable, as in when you open the box, it comes with the parts to make it into an overlord class, or a luna class ect... in short they come with guns, launch ports, antenai, turrets ect. is this true? because if it is, that will be awesome in the fact that i can have different ships, even though they are the same class. so far this will cost me around $65 USD, which is around $100 AUD. this is much better than the previous $250 AUD. i await for someone to enlighten me about the cruisers, because i realy want to know.

Check out scifigenre.com. Its a great source, and offers many models much cheaper than what you will find at the normal Warhammer store. That's how I get my Warhammer 40k and Warhammer fantasy models.

yeah, the cruisers are customisable, but they don't come with enough parts to make endless specialized ships, so you'll need to have variety. Definitely buy the other ships wherever you can get them for cheaper, but you might want to be able to customize your cruisers... it's your call.

awesome... ill start small, one battleship and four cruisers, build em, paint em and if i like what i have, i may get a few more smaller ships to support the battleship,make a propor fleet. thnx for the link, ill check it out.

yeah, you definitely will need some escorts to protect your flanks when you play, especially if you find an eldar player, but you don't have to buy them immediately.

people in aus do play bfg but being on the other side of this country means i couldent tell you who but go looking for a local wargaming club and ask around im sure someone will have it

when i get my models, ill take the pics for you. top front sides bottom, all the ships. im really looking forward to this mod. problem is, the model ships are just so darn expensive, and the shipping fees!   why did they stop selling them? so mean...
