Go on at saturday 1pm and I bet you see people, allot of people hang out in StarDock's chat channels... which most people refer to as IRC, (boo hiss)

at any rate, what time zone can greatly effect things, late US eastern time has a good number of people.

hey, i think you might just be unlucky

Most of us use SDC (stardock central) the one you used to download the game, find the chat and connect. Once your connected type in /join #sins

That will bring you to the sins chat channel with alot more ppl all the time

ive seen this alot, even on IRC, ppl are looking for other to play with but are on different timezones so its hard for some to get a online game going.
I just hope Ironclad and Stardock is looking into some kind of a solution for this

Everyone must be part of the same time zone! Problem solved.

i was hoping more of Stardock world domination so you would be able to say that we all had to be awake at the same time. Problem solved

Like folks have mentioned, we don't have a huge pool of active MP testers, and most games I see are usually organized off the Sins IRC channel. So try hopping on there

Also check this thread. We try to organize games for the weekend with as many people as we can gather, and usually we end up with a good 8-10 players, making for some interesting games. We've got 2 coming up this weekend, too. The times are in there, last page

i have the same issue. i guesse i'm unlucky myself. i never see anyone online exept for p5y and multi at times. how bout that instead of spending time in irc chat because some people may not know about IRC would be nice way to show the newer people that there are really people out there that do play the beta game.

i think this is a bad start to test a beta game on multiplayer when no one is around to be able to test or mess with multiplayer. but when i do see people on it's only about just a few and they already in game.

do any of you live in california? i stay in westcoast, i get off work at 8pm and come home at around 930pm that is about 3hours behind eastcoasters.

IRC info is very public, and the channel's usefulness is frequently mentioned. It's a lot easier to sit in the channel than in ICO because while you're on IRC you can do other stuff, while on ICO you just.. sit.. and wait..

Not to mention that forums can be used to organize games, though other than the thread we have running for weekend games, nobody is really bothering for weekday games

Perhaps we should open 2 threads (and get them stickied!) one for weekend planning and another for Weekday

I'm California too -- alas, bedtime is soon enough that many nights I wouldn't be able to finish a game started at 9:30.

Aretu, take solace in the fact that I'm the one person not believing you.

although if you're speaking the truth then pretty soon it'll be continuous daytime for you, and you can play with whatever timezone you please!

this is an example of thinking outside the box. basicly you have no choice but to be inside the box on this one err.... inside the circle. LoL atleast he won't worrie about timezone as long as he see's the sun in his face. wow that would be like a month worth of staying up and won't even probly know it.
