What files manage the prices of ships and their build times?

It's defined in the ship files themselves:

basePrice
credits 475.000000
metal 80.000000
crystal 60.000000
slotCount 6
BuildTime 40.000000

You've this line near the beginning in every ship file.

Look in the gameinfo folder, lots of files there. And they're all pretty self explanatory. Capship, frigate... FrigateTechCarrier says that cruisers are lumped in with frigates...

In the GameInfo folder:

Files beginning with CAPITALSHIP are the files for the capitalships.

Files beginning with Fighter are the files for fighters/bombers.

Files beginning with Frigate are the files for frigates and cruisers.

FrigatePirates are the pirate's ships. FrigateTech are the player's ships.

Files beginning with PLANETMODULE are the building files.

All files in this folder are text files that can be opened with notepad.

iv also changed the priority for researching certain things up for the ai such as armour shields and weps it makes them that bit harder. Normaly they dont research. and shouldent the marza missiles have a 3 barrage cos they have 3 missile tubes in each of its missile bays .
