but we know that there won't be personlized ships in the game

and i am assuming that there aren't any plans for starbases

so what i am asking is it possible to put starbases in and personlize them making them as big and as powerful as you want to of course taking as much time to build them depending on what you put on them and how many

In theory it is already in the game. For example the fact that we can build stationary hangers and select what weapons platforms for it to develop clearly demonstrates it is present. The only issue currently is the phased lane restrictions regarding placement.

Hmmm.. come to think of it, I bet I could easily add other abilities such as the gauss gun to the hanger and make it function as a total defensive platform.

this is something like what i was thinking being able to combine one or more of each type of building into one adding the times to build each one together

the only choice i get with hangers is fighters or bombers is that the only choice or is something else coming later
