Movie recomendations...

We just got a Netflix membership, what recent really good movies would you recommend, My wife likes the Comedy loves stories like pretty woman (anything Julia roberts type movies) and suspense \ horror. I prefer True stories, Thrillers and war movies.

If you have seen a REALLY good movie recently you would like to recommend , let me know, thanks.

Hopefully I wont be the only one that can benefit from the suggestions.

My fave is the original "Alfie" (the proper original one with Michael Caine not that upstart Jude Law),and the film that made me laugh most in the last few years is "Shaun of the Dead" the rom,zom,com...most hilarious.   Oh and the Shawshank Redemption was real class!   ....Oh heck, one more for a Sunday afternoon,"To Kill A Mockingbird" with Gregory Peck.I read the book at school and have loved it ever since and the movie does it real justice.

I recently watched 'A Few Good Men' on my Plasma, and didn't think it was the best movie, but if they did a bit more in it - I would have enjoyed it, I really enjoyed Troy, Lord of the Rings trilogy, and Star Wars. Thanks

For me if you want to laugh so hard you cry, the Pink Panther movies (only those with Peter Sellers) should be high on the list.
