I need Help

Upgrading

from WinCustomize Forums
Well this year I'm getting a little extra back from my taxes. My car was paid off in July of 2006 so I'll have some extra cash. I plan on getting Vista Ultimate, some new hard drives a sound card and a new video card. I've been using an nvidea 6600 agp card with 128mg mem. It's compatible with vista, but I was something faster and better. Can you guys on wincustomize suggest something. I thank you very much a head of time.

I just got Soundblaster Elite Pro soundcard, A 250 gig MyBook External HD and an Nvidia 7300 GS 512 MB...

All compatible with Vista ( even tho i dont use it..yet ) and id recommentd all of it...and all from tax returns.

Try researching it yourself..or try the forums at Tom's Hardware. Obviously nobody else here had any good recommendations, and without you bumping the post it's been lost under tons of other ones.

Thanks boss0190, I have researched it myself and have formulated a couple of ideas. Over the years on wincustomized I've read articles in the forums on questions just like mine. I've come to respect the info from the diffrent people here at wincustomize and just wanted to get some other opinions, however this is the first time I've been directed to go to a diffrent site, I thought we took care of our own here. thanks for the suggestion though, I'll go on over to Tom's Hardware now. see ya!

pcworld.com is always a great place. oh yea and about wc being what it was its changed now so will just have to accept it and move on and hope for the best in the future
