Lost Mouse?

Hi
Ive used multiplicity for a while, but recently i installed a new router and installed vista onto my laptop. Everything else works fine, except multiplicity.
I can telnet from both computers and each one sees `MULTIPLICITY`. I configure the laptop to be secondary and then when i configure the Primary, it pops up "Laptop" with a green Tick, and the icon in taskbar goes red and green and both says "Multiplcity" when hovered rather than "Multiplicity (disconnected". But when i drag the mouse across, its lost. It doesnt appear on either computer, and i have to restart the Primary or remove network lead to get my mouse back. Whats the problem?
