I think it's a fake.

Hilarious. I hope it's fake, because if I ever meet that person in real life, I will kill them.

"Oh my god, my blood is the wrong colour!"

Thats what i meant. Half my friends are like that, maybe not to that extreme, but the least the expected for Christmas was a video Ipod.
That is all I asked for lol, I video Ipod. They aren't cheap.

in my family we each tell each other what we want for xmas, or we just buy it for ourselves.
some people call it capitalizing christmas. I call it maximizing the "I wanted this, thanks so much!" factor

Christmas is for family, whatever you want to do is fine by me. We tell each other what we want, usually theres a guessing factor but not really.

No when i meant the least, thats the least they got. It was like a stocking stuffer for them or something. Now that was only for a few of my friends, it doesnt really speak for everyone.

I always say never bother with presents, the money I normally get in the christmas cards is fine. Then I can buy my own!
I haven't gotten presents in over 4 years, we stopped awhile back when my parents realized my salary at my new job equaled theirs combined. Lol...

We just buy what we want need throughout the year. And for Holidays we all get together and just spend time together.

people all complain about how christmas is over-industrialized, about how its about the presents and not the people.
back off fuckers. let people enjoy something for once.

Its true. Heres a fact, Suicides are the highest during December, and it doubles five days before Christmas.

creepy...
so people kill themselves over worrying about buying gifts... grand...
Not only themselves, others as well. Over here theres been a few muggings and knife fights at Best Buy and Khols, horribly violent unhinged parents. Quite sad if you think about it, but hey its capatalism.

And not only that. Think bout the people who are lonely without family or many friends. And then think about the image the media generates of Christmas. One where everyone is surrounded by perfect presents and friends and family members and other loved ones. To those people life doesnt seem worth it during the holidays. Its all quite messed up.

And thats why i dont like Christmas.

There where some news on the danish television, about how stressed people are.
Dont like it, but as long the family demands it, theres nothing i can do.

Did try one christmas, and said i didnt want this, so i didnt buy any presents. But at the 24, my dad called and said, i had to come, even though i didnt want to. So it was kinda weird not giving any presents, since they brought some for me

But yeah, its the golden days for the businesses. But if you wait till january, you can get the same stuff for half or even 1/3 of the christmas price
Reply #18 Top
Yep, its cause people are either fogetful or dont have the time. So they buy at the last minute.
well my family life is near perfect, so I dont really have to worry about all this sorts of stuff...
