Has anyone else....

For a few days now and maybe longer, I have noticed that some of my posts and comments are disappearing. Some I left in the forums and some of the comments I have left on skins. Has anyone else noticed this?

Have you checked to see if your comment is in the middle of all the other comments rather than at the end where a recent comment would be ? I've noticed this happening at times. I'll make a comment and then it seems gone - if a skin has 20 comments and i was the 21st comment,my comment sometimes becomes 12th. Just a glitch I presume..

I will look for that. However my missing comments are totally gone. I do know for sure 2 of my missing comments (on skins) were the last ones, but I have not seen them turn up in another position. My comment on zoombas thread about the site changes was way up at the top and it is gone too. I use FireFox so I can keep the cache cleaned all the time. Cookies too. Tis another one of those mysteries!

I noticed the whole newsitem about the site changes was gone for a while, and when i checked in later, it was back, maybe it has something to do with that?

Dunno if this is related, but maybe what happened to your posts...a while ago I created a post in a thread, but when it came up on the forum it was in another thread entirely. Wonder if your posts are somewhere other than where you expected them to go....um, the twighlight zone perhaps.

I want to know where you people find "tinfoil", for your hats...... all I can find is aluminum foil, and it doesn't work as well.

From tin cans of course

the aluminum foil will work but you have to double it over before shaping the hat and it must be in a counterclockwise turn or it will amplify your brain waves

I'll be back people. I must take Troy for some help. He got that tinfoil hat a little tight around his head last night.

Dual layer aluminium foil works okay, even better with a bathing cap underneath for added protection (also negates need to wind foil on counter-clockwise).....condom will suffice if no bathing cap available.

For those still using the old method of tinfoil, a bathing cap (or condom) is still a good idea....prevents rust on the brain, should the tinfoil become stuck/a permanent accessory.

It could possibly be you are not allowing the server to accept the data because you are pressing the buttons to quick.

I think it is a bug though...

I havnt experienced anything, thats because i am new here

I have been using the "buttons" the same way for a couple years now.

I have been using the "buttons" the same way for a couple years now. That is not it. Thanks though.

For those still using the old method of tinfoil,

That is the method we use. I had not thought of the bathing cap or condom. Would that be smooth or ribbed? And do condoms actually stretch that far! LOL

you guys (and gals) with your flimsy little tin and aluminum foil hats.

I learned real early and saved all our old toothpaste tubes.

Lead! that's the ticket.

'Smooth' is best/safest...ribbed ones have been known to allow mind probes, rays and etc under the corrugations.

And do condoms actually stretch that far!

Dunno about in the U'S, but here in Oz they do.

Ah, that explains the weird behaviour (even for a troll)

Do they make ribbed bathing caps?

As far back as WW2, soldiers used condoms to put on rifle barrels. That's the size I'm most familiar with.

For sure....the ribs/corrugations cater to women (maybe some men) who wanna leave their curlers in while bathing.
