Our betas generally don't have NDAs.

We want players to have an incentive to give public suggestions to us and for us to have an incentive to make sure that no major problems are ignored.

alrite now my question about the pre order is this... when we buy the preorder will the beta be on a disk inside the box or.... will we recieve a code where we can go online and download the beta and start to play it...
also do you guys have a rough date for when the beta will be released?

There isn't a preorder box at retail. You would just preorder online, then download the betas via Stardock Central when they're made available.

My gaming computer does not have access to the internet. If I preorder would I be able to download the betas with one computer, but install and play them on a second (gaming) computer?

Here is a quote from there FAQ

Can I backup my games?

Absolutely. Stardock Central will allow you to archive the games you purchase through TotalGaming.net, which you may then copy to other media (i.e., CD, DVD, removable hard drive, etc.). You will need a copy of Stardock Central to reinstall your archives, however.

yes, a date would be nice...
but erm, when we preorder it, will there not allready be a release date? that would insinuate that there can't be any changes...

or am i completely missing the point?

a pre-order is just that..a pre-order you can make pre-orders for a game that doesnt even exhist if you wanted. a game also having a release date also doesnt mean there cant be changes made. it normally takes probably a few weeks to mass produce all the discs with the final data and even then they might have online download purchasing so there can be changes made all the way up to it going GOLD (gold meaning its been finalised and shipped of to be screened by rating officials and then to mass production)
