Complicated setup question

Hey all,

I have a fairly complicated setup because of a combo of work and home PCs, monitors, etc.

What I have is a KVM that controls 3 PCs. I use two of these very often. I also have a docking station for a laptop. That docking station has its own monitor, because I want to be able to see whats happeneing on the laptop all the time. I want to avoid a second set of keyboard/mouse on the laptop.

I am using multiplicity, but I need to see if I can have 2 "primaries" and one "secondary". That way the two PCs on the KVM can be the primary and the laptop can be the secondary.

Or is there another way to do this?

TIA

AJ

That's the reason that I would like to see Multiplicity detect the presence of keyboard/mouse and relinquish control when they keyboard and mouse are not present, but unfortunately I don't think there's a way to do what you're looking to do. I ended up just installing Synergy.

Sorry it took a while to get back, but in limited testing, this actually works just the way I would want it to. The only catch is, I need to have the Keyboard and mouse active on the primary before I use the hardware KVM to switch primaries. Pretty minor issue, so I am happy.

Awesome product, guys!
