Need Help Installing Logon Skin

Hi i recently downloaded logon stuidos. Oncei downloaded it i installed log on studios then downloaded a skin. It was the Homer SKin on wincustomize.
it was homer.logonxp i double clicked it and my logon studio window showed but i didnt see any homer skin i refreshed the list and i restarted and no homer...

so the big question is how do i install this skin?

homer.zip


it's a .zip

if you changed the extension, put it back to .zip
extract to the same folder you downloaded to
double click the homer.logonxp inside the folder that gets extracted.

i Did all that i unzipped it and i retrieved the homer.logonxp file and double clicked it but yet the homer logon skin did now show?

possible bad download?

delete it. try a fresh one.

save it, extract it, open the folder extracted and double click the logonxp inside.


is your OS in English?

when i installed the logon program it didnt ask about any language? but if u mean if xp is in english then yes it is... yea i tried to download a fresh copy but i think its the program because i have tried other skins and it wouldent load.

It loaded for me fine.

Yes, I meant XP in English

do the logons that came with it work when you open LogonStudio and pick one and click 'apply'?

what version of logonstudio? where did you get it?

I ask this because just this week someone got one from a link from 2002.

if you open LS and click 'load' and browse to it, does it work?

for some reason I don't think so.

At the Stardock site here: https://www.stardock.com/products.asp I noticed if I click 'download' for LS it come us with an "RC" version page (which appears to be 2002), but if I clicked the word "LogonStudio" it takes me here: https://www.stardock.com/products/logonstudio/downloads.asp which when I click download there takes me here: http://www.download.com/LogonStudio/3000-2344_4-10328444.html?tag=lst-0-1 which was added in 2005

I say... uninstall the one you have, reboot, go here: http://www.download.com/LogonStudio/3000-2344_4-10328444.html?tag=lst-0-1 and try that one.
