SUGGESTION - For Way Points

The way it is now I am getting Carparal Tunnel Syndrome.

Forgive me if the idea has been suggested, but here it goes.

Current
Click - blue icon
Click - ship in window or click the planet icon
Scroll - to waypoint desired. then click it
Click - ok
Remember to click the plant if you want to deactivate the waypoint.

OMFG - stand up and bash your head against the wall!!! That is just to much clicking for me, just like I tell the ALL the starports what ship to build, I should be able to tell ALL of them where to go in the same way

You dont have to take out what is already there, some players might actually like the current system, I for one fine it tedious and far to time consuming, think about the numbers here. 20 star systems = 3 starbases each = 60 bases with approx 64 modules 60x64 would equal 3,840 constructors to max them all up, this is not including resource bases!

For 1 ship or starbase = no big deal but with dozens and dozens...it is really starting to grind on my nerves BAD!!, as it stands now I don't even bother with military bases anymore....cant stand the grind after economy and influence.

THERE IS A BETTER WAY! It could be implemented in the next patch

just 3 clicks and all your civs ships will go to desired waypoint......I mean this is THE 23rd century, and so I SHOULD be able to issue orders to the whole shooting match...not have to play the ruler and messenger to eachplanets governor

In a word. Yes.

But as a seperate tag in the governers section, as I might want to change what is building, but not where it is going or vice versa.

I may be wrong, but could you not tell a starbase, in galCiv, to forward a ship or fleet to another waypoint. I found it useful to do this, to help avoid the enemy before they were formed into fleets and to speed them to the point of battle.
This could be implemented for military bases only (oh no the cost! a string of mil bases thru out the empire), but it would get ride of a lot of clicking.

telling a way point to move instead of having to asign a new waypoint.

patrol route waypoints.  Combat scout ship scripts to tell a ship to avoid combat range but remain in sensor range.  scripts to tell a fleet to intercept the closest enemie fleet within it's patrol route.  with both of these you could form sensor picket fences that high speed patrols could automatically intercept.
