First off I totally understand people I WOULD LIKE TO MEET MIGHT NOT WANT TO MEET ME!


Whip, Because she is outrageous and bright and under that "i will kill persona" Beats a heart of gold.

Drmiler, because even though he was a navy man , he has the heart of a patriot and warrior.

Drguy, because we think so much alike.

Tex, because never have I seen a woman/child as in love with life as she.

Dharma< her kind and gentle ways have always soothed the savage beast inside of me.

Maso, because of his outstanding love for life and his wife makes me think we could bridge the oceans betwen us and become good pals if not friends.

Gid, because I have seldom seen a more stubborn out spoken in your face kind of man.

Mason, because thugs together have more fun when they are not 'REAL THUGS" anymore.

shovel, because he keeps us safe from the monsters that live among us and he is a biker dude, we could trade war stories all night I am sure.

Baker and terp must be 10, I have much in common with baker {scarey huh baker} and terp has a heart of gold.
Foreverserenity, her loving ways ahve reached me in a manner I was suprised to see. Ted, who stands fast in his religion and views and always debates kindly {except for colgene who could pss a saint off} Island dog, Who I have been missing recently and how quickly he has become someone I look forward to reading.

it can work, kfc, as long as a bunch of backstabbing childish behavior does not manifest itself while enjoying each others company.

There are too many here for me to list, suffice it to say the "wouldn't want to meet" list would be quite short indeed.

I'm flattered that many have counted myself among those they would like to meet, and reciprocate in kind, but I feel that somehow some give me far more credit than I deserve.

there's this Irish Pub in Virginia Beach, where we should all go and meet later this summer.....

Hehe. Sounds like fun. Since I moved to Williamsburg, it's closer, but is the drive really any shorter than it would've been from Petersburg? Time wise, that is.

OT: I love to listen to the traffic reports in the mornings/afternoons - particularly the traffic trying to cross the James - and just LAUGH!!!! Knowing that I'm not one of those poor suckers that has to deal with it. I live and work on the Peninsula and like it that way.

Ok, I've watched this thread long enough without commenting. I don't know that I would really want to meet any of you in RL. That's not a bad thing. I'm just not a very social person. I am more the creepy guy in the corner watching everybody else. Ok, maybe not creepy but different none the less.

Thanks for the mention Guy. We should trade pictures one day. Although, I need to do a little wire matenance. My server room is not as organized as it was a couple of years ago when we built it out.

And Tova, I think you and my wife would get along famously.

Actually, I don't think I'd want to meet any of you. I respect most of you as thinkers and writers, but even talking to a few of you on e-mail or a chat program has been for the most part disappointing, as generally people get pissed when you express a belief as "real" that you've always maintained on your blog -- for example, my anti-breeding stance. It's all good until it applies to you. Well, I'd rather you all stay words on a screen, because then, we can all maintain the illusion that our words don't really apply to anybody in real life.

nah, I think the net provides perfect boundaries for these sorts of things. I'm sure you're all lovely people, but I sort of like the ability to switch JU off and not worry about what you say.

Elie, you know that you would be tops on the list of people to meet.

And in no particular order:
Maso, Joe, Doc, Tex, Peter, Whip & Simon, Rose & Chris, Kelly, Tonya, Ted, Trudy, HC, Em, Dharma, Jill & hubby, Loca, Momijiki, Nicky, Danny...I just know I'm leaving out someone and If I did, forgive me!

Let's just make it easy, everyone on my sidebar! And some who are not: Drmiler, Baker, Angela, Mr. Moskowitz And a few of the newer bloggers I've grown to like, Amanda, Jenny, San Cho, Charles...

I'm not going to name anymore because I would love to meet all of you. Especially those I hang out with a lot, really, really love to meet one day, hopefully within the next five years, ok, two years!LOL! But I figured five years is enough time for us to get our acts together and plan, etc.
