Long ago I stopped playing the if I am mad at someone, it means you as my friend/brother/sister/wife/husband MUST BE mad at them too.

What is this grade school? Obviously this is another article about little whip, I have always adored her, never cared for Simon at all,
While I will miss whip my world was whole long before I met her and will be whole long after she is gone.

As for Simon, who really cares if he is exiled? I sure do not, I have never bothered reading his stuff except for a couple times and that was out of loyalty to whip, I never commented on his blathering.

I am not here to make real world friends I have those, I am not here to please anyone except myself.

Brad can be a large pain, so what? so Can I.

Was brad wrong exiling Simon? who cares? Brads site, brads rules, you do not like it, leave, no one had nailed you to the caberfloor here.

Will I miss whip, yep, I remember once before when she split, I felt like my muse deserted me, but life went on, I even blogged about missing her, because I did, but life went on.

Sure I could have the instant satisfaction of telling admin to go fuck themselves, but there are consequences if I do, I will be gone and the world will go on.

I have been here for 16 months, the site was here, up and running before I came will be up and running after I leave.

I have never been elevated in status, so what? I have my own status it's called personal status, anything someone gives you is called vested status and can be taken as easy as given, NO ONE can Take my status because it is earned by me and kept by me.

I am old enough to understand people come, people go in my life and life goes on either way.

I refuse to play grade school games, if you think you are my cyberfriend and think I will leave here because YOU DO, get a clue, I won't, I will leave when I am damned good and ready or when brad tires of me. either way life goes on.

I do not by any stretch of the imagination think brad is childish jill, I do think banning whip for what she said on another site is a childish act.

I do not cast stones jill, personally I am grateful for joeuser and for brad. I have always said that "brads house brads rules"

He removed her remaining article that she left behind to point people to her new blog where she was trashing him. She asked for it and she got it. She changed her username to bye-bye and gave Brad the finger on her way out. What a surprise, he said 'no thanks'. If anyone thinks that was wrong or childish I would suggest they themselves do some growing up.

What does that have to do with anything? Brad said she could be reinstated and that backups of her articles could be put back. In response, LW said what she said. Taken at her word, there's no reason for her to ever access the site.

There's a little camp of dolts who sit around and badmouth Brad and JU on other blogs, and frankly I don't think they should be allowed to waste bandwidth here and then run off and bite the hand that pays for it. If someone talks about me like a dog to other people, I generally don't invite them over to my house, nor do I let them in if they invite themselves.

Why should Brad let people in who insult him and JU? Let them sit around in their barren blogs and be bitter. Who cares.

bad communication abounds! I too will miss whip, and also can empathize with you gid, I can care less about simon being banned, but what brad did to whip because of what she said on another site is just plain WRONG, BAD, and childish.

I appreciate the apology but can't fathom how you couldn't see what you said as casting stones. Stating that what he did was plain wrong, bad and childish sure felt like stones.

But apology accepted and appreciated. You have the right to disagree with what happened and I have the right to defend it. My right is just more...well...right

Truly, I wish people would put themselves in Brad's shoes before making that kind of judgement. I really think you would see it differently. I totally understand people liking little whip and being saddened that she is gone. She didn't get anything she didn't ask for. Brad made sure to let her know he was leaving the door open for her and she slammed it in his face.

MM, I totally understand getting passionate about something and how easy it is then to see things from only one side. It takes a grown up to say I'm sorry. And I am sorry for losing my cool in that first comment. I try not to cuss but I know my husband, I know why he does what he does (usually) and I know he didn't take things lightly with LW. He didn't want to see her gone either but she left him no choice.

Thanks. One of the reasons why I came forward with who I really am was so I could do so. When this all started and Brad was getting trashed left and right, he said that my standing up for him made his day.

I respect LW for leaving with Simon. I just don't respect the way she went about it.

wait wait wait.  Little Whip isn't banned. How did this mutate from her husband getting banned to LW getting banned?

LW's husband got banned. She decided to leave with him and deleted nearly all her blogs. She left one to advertise her new blog site that essentially starts as a trashing of me. So I removed that ad.  I don't think anyone here would argue I should pay to advertise someone trashing me.

But she's not banned, not sure where that came from.  You can click on "Bye bye" on the right side of the page. She's still a Citizen.

I don't have a problem with LW and  I'm sorry she left.  Though her dramatic turn-about in behavior makes me wonder about her.  It's a blog site. Her husband pushed too far, got banned, and she went with him. I think that's understandable.

That said, I do think she's a toxic user and I say that for fairly obvious reasons - calling your friends "cowards" for not abandoning their blogs on her command and trashing people who have been nothing but kind to her is simply sad. She's got issues. She's always had issues but that doesn't mean she isn't a terrific writer.

But next time someone starts listening to serious allegations, perhaps checking into them to make sure they're true would be in order. Like I said, her profile is on the right bar of every page on the site. It's not hard to verify whether she's been banned or not.

Update:

Hmm. It appears when I perm-banned LW's husband over the weekend (originally he was just "exiled") it affected LW's account due to shared IPs.  I'm going to have to think about how that would get resolved.  It wasn't designed to deal with the case where one person in a household is banned.

But given her attitude at her new blog, I'm not sure it's worth having IT mess with the system for her benefit.

Yea, that's the same thing I noticed.  She has citizen access but but her ID got banned.  Stardock.net ID's are IP based. I'm thinking the system got confused by her husband's perm ban.

In theory, I could unpermban him (leave him just exiled) and it would unflag hers.  But after seeing MM's post I decided to go look at where this whole thing originated and saw LW's writeup and so I think I finally got to see the real LW with Marcie comparing me to Hitler.

The whole thing strikes me as bizarre.

Simon writes a blog. I respond to it meanly.  Simon gets really personal. I warn him not to press my buttons. He then proceeds to go to the nth degree and do just that so he gets banned. LW voluntarily leaves with him and then makes a call for all good people to rise up (that's how I read it anyway) and leave. Those who didn't are labeled cowards.

It makes for a good soap, I must confess. But it's still bizarre.

To the best of my knowledge, he hasn't 'done' anything to her. And if he did 'do' something - like exiling her, for instance - then I'd like to know what you would have had him do. If you owned a web site and someone left and started saying some horrible things about you, would you let them come back to your site anytime they wanted to? I know I wouldn't (and I got flamed pretty well over there too, in case you didn't notice).

Like Baker said, she left on her own and made sure she torched any and all bridges she had left. Brad didn't 'do' anything to her, he simply didn't step in and make her stop.

To the best of my knowledge, he hasn't 'done' anything to her. And if he did 'do' something - like exiling her, for instance - then I'd like to know what you would have had him do.
