wb5 plz help

disabling xp theme

i know i read somewhere about when having wb5 it would work better if u disabled xp theme can anyone help me on this plz
disabling xp theme or just leaving it on ????

Click START--click RUN--type ...msconfig.. click OK.
In the window that appears, go to SERVICES...scroll down, find THEMES. Uncheck it, hit apply, close. You will probably be prompted to reboot.

I turned off XP Themes & I believe WB5 runs a bit faster. One thing that might put off some people is that the occasional program not skinned by WB5 is flat-out naked, but such encounters are rare. You can always reactivate XP Themes if the effect bothers you...

Mine's still on. Haven't noticed it being slow because of it.

WB5 is not slow with XP Themes on, but it's a little faster with it off...
