I'm sure you'll both be higher than third soon enough. It will be interesting to see if Syrrus K gives up on his 5th place character and goes back to defending his first place character. In the end I don't think it will matter which he does, but I think if he drops his 5th place guy he may hold the both of you off a bit longer.

I am taking a little break from GC II to play SR 2.

*FC looks at the 2 desktops and 1 laptop sitting infront of him*

Buy her one and tell her you just had to get it because it was ON SALE.

Didn't work with my wife either...

But the kids need a computer excuse worked

I already snuck an extra gig of RAM into the home computer

I had an excuse for the new printer/scanner/copier. After all, she is taking graphic design classes. It's a MUST! But, she tells me that I already have a work laptop....Just doesn't understand that it's a bit weak for GC II...

Now the kids excuse, give me a couple of years and that might fly!

I was falling behind on my fun reading. So it's been good to take a break and catch up a bit. I do want to drop another game this month though.

Good Morning Diplomats.

I've set up a poll on whether or not the Diplomats should support the formation of a Metaverse Council. Please stop by the Core and cast your vote. However, as I mentioned in the poll post, I think we need both a positive poll result *and* explicit approval from our emperor for this to be approved.

Anyway, if there are those that have missed the discussion of this topic, you should check out the How to Increase Interest and Participation in the Metaverse thread in the GalCiv II forum on the Core and the Is anyone else out there thread here on the GC2 forums.

Good evening Diplomats  . A lot happened today. The Core was really hopping for a while there. Since it hasn't been mentioned here, I just wanted let any Diplomats that haven't been to the Core recently know, that voting is taking place for Metaverse Council representatives. If you haven't voted yet, stop by and placed your vote at The Portal polls. Just look for the appropriately named polls (2 of them).
