I too am looking for an empire. Please, no more shameless plugs for the Overmind. You guys do have a nice recruiting drive atm, but wheres the others?? Hmm...

Do the empires that blossomed during GC1 plan on coming back ?? If so, how can we get hold of you ?

I have to assume that quite a few people are waiting til they can play the game before they worry about Empires based on their scores from, well, playing the game.

LOL Empires will come aplenty once the game is launched. There are no plans for the forums to have their own empire section as in GC1 so expect to see LOTS of empire related posts come next week.

I assume empires are like clans in other games? What benefit does an empire have over playing solo, since there's no multiplayer anyway?

Theres no benefit it's just for bragging rights

Would i be wrong to assume that the empire that has the most people would win compared to just a elite few?

not always

If you have a group of people in an empire that knock out 2-3 games per day (yes it has been done) that empire will quickly overtake an empire whose members only post a game every now and again. It is all down to the way the Metaverse 'ages' posted games.

BTW the Galactic Diplomats Empire will be launching as soon as hte game and meta go live next week

Statement: The Overmind does sound entertaining, for a meatbag. However, it is against my better judgment to join a meatbag when I could blast it.

Explanation: While I approve of his enslavement of the universe, relying on inferior meatbags to build entire empires to do what a well designed assassination droid could do is too inefficient.

Retraction: Although, I do like the idea of mass chaos and the chance to kill more meat bags.

This is not exactly logical, however humans I find are often not logical to begin with. What is wrong with cybernetic lifeforms? We are highly efficient at everything we do, how could you determine that?

Consider joining a highly effective Empire like Star Fleet: The Next Generation with myself "Beta" and the crew of the Enterprize.

Of course you do realise that "Star Fleet" will be there ... eg: Star Fleet (NG) NG= next generation
