Duckman! "What the hell are YOU staring at!?" Homer Simpson has to be up there, too.

Great stuff! Thanks for your input! If anyone else has anything to add, I'd appreciate it.
I'm getting ready to build a new computer, and since it's my first time, I need some advice. I'm basically just wanting to put something together that will get me going, using my existing peripherals and cards, which can later be updated as needed. Here is basically what I'm looking at: Case: I want something with a good power supply and good looks and functionality, but I don't want to spend a fortune. I won't be overclocking or constantly tweaking, so the case will stay on virtual
What treetog said.
Yeah, where's the auto-sig feature? > -- "I was sad because I had no shoes, until I met a man who had no feet. So I said, 'Got any shoes you're not using?'" - Steven Wright <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gi
I had the browser crash with a certain WB skin (can't remember which one, but it was discussed in the skin's comments). Aside from that, it hasn't given me a problem. I just have it assigned a Per App skin now, so applying new skins will not affect it.
Yeah, I used to love NP before it started getting in the way of things I found indispensible, such as Gator (okay, I was naive at the time). But it was definitely cool in its day.
What a bunch of suck-ups! Oh, BTW, I agree.
I personally don't like wallpaper with obvious spots for icons. If it's subtle, such as just a naturally less detailed area, then that's different. I do use the desktop as a temporary holding area for downloaded files, but aside from that, I like to keep it clean (not even a trash can).
Not to mention the fact that, unlike JPEG, PNG is lossless.
At one time people thought GIF was essentially public domain, too. OTOH, time is more on our side this time around, with only two years left on the patent.
What werewolf said. I also think it's going to be a support nightmare for Wal-Mart.
The thing is, Apple users are like religous zealots (I used to belong to the Atari religion, so I can relate ). They'll pay just about anything that Apple charges, because they're not really looking for value.
Does anyone think they'll have trouble leasing the higher floors? After all, there are a great many people still afraid to fly, because of 9/11.
From the looks of that page, it appears you have to add wallpapers manually (though you can add an entire directory at once). Wallpaper Changer will monitor any directory you choose and automatically see any changes. It also can catch nested directories. Very cool program. And free. http://www.wallpaperchanger.de/ <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Pow
Where can I get this Britney Spears skin?
Skinz.org dealt with it? They had to shut down because they couldn't afford to deal with it.
Thanks, Chris. Glad to help.
You can find the .ini settings documented here, in the Tips & Tricks section. http://www.windowblinds.net/default.asp?page=wbfaq
Hyperionics also has a program like this that doesn't work with WB. I'm now using a program called ImageFox from ACD Systems, which adds favorites to open/save dialogs and *does* work with WB. It also adds a preview window (which can be toggled for individual programs) for pics/sounds/videos. Pretty cool program. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powere
The classic look is way too boring for me. YMMV.
You know with ALL CAPS and "SUX" in the subject, you're going to have a real intellectual message inside.
You need Windows XP to get the XP style Start button and menu.
Trick or treat!
Yeah, Frogger is a pretty good guy for a Conservative.
