Mouseovers might be the best of any skin I've seen. You out there, treetog?
Tarkus
You're all wrong. The only free wallpaper changer I've found that automatically monitors recursive directories (absolutely no manual adding of wallpapers!) is the modestly named Wallpaper Changer. Of course, it does a LOT more than that, but that is the main reason I use it. http://www.wallpaperchanger.de/ <img s
Tarkus, you are the MAN!
Argh...I wish WC would fix that problem. Here is a cut and pasteable version: www.techtv.com/callforhelp/freefile/story/0,24330,3396043,00.html
There's a good review of W3 by Patrick Norton of TechTV, at the following link: http://www.techtv.com/callforhelp/freefile/story/0,24330,3396043,00.html
Growing up in Vegas, I actually saw Elvis at the old International (now the Las Vegas Hilton).
Saw the blurb and link in the daily show notes, but missed the show itself. Congrats, Mormegil!
And with any luck, your patch will still work after SP1.
I think *now* is the point. Imagine Usenet (or even news.stardock.com) with everything placed in a single category. And this place ain't getting any less popular.
Where's Dangeruss when you need him?
Thanks, Chris. I tried that one, but the XP stuff doesn't look very good at all. The colors are all wrong, and the round buttons are not real round. I'm not sure I ever got as far as trying an actual window, but judging by the screenshot, that part looks good. Unfortunately, it looks like the XP stuff was cut and pasted from another skin (or vice versa). <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" bor
At first it reminded me of my old Atari VCS (yes, even before it was called 2600), but then I realized the graphics were too good. Very cool link. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" A
That's cool! Welcome aboard, buddha hat!
I think this is one of the best WB skins ever. I just wish it was updated for Windows XP. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
Do any of those OSX threads point to a good WB skin for XP based on OSX? All the skins I've seen either look nothing like OSX or look like OSK, but don't have XP support. I'd love to see a good OSXP skin.
SkinBrowser is not part of Object Desktop. It must be purchased and downloaded separately.
Not much of a review, is it?
I would imagine a round skin would also give you a huge performance hit, with all that transparency.
ZIP does not typically decrease the file size of JPGs (at least not anything worthwhile). Now BMPs, OTOH,.....
What Hippy said.
Now I believe it's final.
Weon - the sounds are what really make Skyrocket. /me likes explosions and things that go boom.
A combo skin would provide the best of both worlds, of course.
