I found if I "save" a package I don't close it right away because when it asks if you want to apply changes is when the icons are shuffled. So I save the package, then I will go in and change one of of the minor file icons and hit apply and then everything is fine. However, a lot of the icons do NOT stay changed when you change to another package and try to go back to the old package -- it is a pain!!

Right now I have a desktop and a laptop both Pentium4s. My husband builds computers in his spare time so he keeps mine running. I bought my desktop coming up on 2 years ago. I guess I will keep using it until I can't upgrade any more.
I noticed the Apogee set is being advertised already. If it is not complete - why? The screenshot shows a lot more icon files than I got when I purchased. When will the update be available? Happy Holidays everyone!
What I do to save the iconpackages I've already downloaded is move the THEME file to another place on my computer until after I've removed the old version, downloaded the new and rebooted. Then I replace the new Theme File with my old one.
What do those of us do who already purchased the package?

It is NOT changing the icons in the Control Panel - this new version of IP - even using the Apogee icons. Anyone else having this problem?
I am disappointed in this new Apogee set. There are NO icons for any of the Stardock applications!! There is also no pdf or eml so many are missing I don't have time to list them all. The free package Icon a Day has more files than this one has.
I just downloaded it too! Can't wait. One thing about this new version of IP. I downloaded it and when I went to bring up one of my packages it had nearly all the formats missing!!! I had to add them one by one by clicking on Add Format! What a pain!

Maybe you could either limit the number of downloads a person who does not subscribe, can download; OR you can wrap the files with ads like some other sites do; making the unsubscriber download .exe files instead of .zip files. If you sell ads to wrap with the .exe files you could bring in additional revenue. LOOK I AM HAVING A BIG PROBLEM TRYING TO RENEW MY SUBSCRIPTION! I entered my code into the box to renew and it takes me to another page where I click on the check out button. The next page brings up my personal information and billing information; when I hit submit at the bottom of the page it takes me to another page with not only my renewal but an additional WC subscription!! For a total of $39.90 and it won't let me delete the additional
This is strange, I went to renew my subscription (even though it does not expire until December) and when I went to check out the screen had two lines - one line had the renewal for $19.95; the next line had just Wincustomize subscription for ANOTHER $19.95 which totaled $39.90. There was no way for me to delete the extra subscription so I could not go through with my renewal. I wrote to [email protected] -- but is that the correct place to contact?
My subscription to WC is worth every penney! This site is the best. I just have one question -- how do you know when your subscription is ready to expire? Do you send an email? I know that I became a member BEFORE a subscriber and I have no idea when it is time for renewal.

I have also been having problems with MaAfee since I installed IP3. I upgraded my McAfee (it was due to expire in a month anyway) and I am still having problems. For example, I can't open the McAfee Security Center using the icon in the lower left of the task bar. In fact I can't open any of my Mcafee programs. Anyone have any suggestions (besides using a different security system)?

Here is the problem I am having. Because I have recolored a lot of my Iconpackages and when I saved them they would only let me save them under the original name. So, I had maybe 5 different Utopia Canvas files -- all different colors. So when I downloaded this new version of IP; I moved all my theme folders out to another folder so I wouldn't lose them; then after I downloaded 3.00 I moved them back. I've noticed lately that every time I download a Cursor XP skin that instead of getting the .curxptheme file; I get individual cursors. Could it be because I use the "free" CursorXP software? I've bought every program that Stardock offers except Desktop X (It would have been cheapter for me had I purchased this first.) Any ideas? Thanks in advance. </font

I have tried for two days to upload a screen shot. Yesterday it just kept loading and loading until the loading timed out. Today I tried again and instead of going to the next screen; I get the upload information screen back; but without the two links to my pictures and two red "astericks" (SP?) at the top. Does anyone know what is wrong?
