All I can say is: AOL owns time warner cable, so they get most of the internet money, pretty smart, huh? I have RR, when my family goes to the beach, we can use RR dialup for free. it's pretty good, something even faster would be T1, but those are for buisnesses so that they aren't really slow with a jillion people on at a time. best choice I could tell you to make, unless you don't want aol to get your money, in which case you should try some DSL at the same speed, but according to the old RR c

yeah, but there are some that can play windows games, I think redhat can, but I haven't backed up my xp stuff to partition yet, so I don't know. lindows does though, and probably lycoris. linux users, help me decide: lycoris, debian, or redhat? I'm a new user and just want to see what linux is like so that I can buy a new computer, install linux, and understand. any other suggestions are welcome too.

I don't know what I can do, my house has all 4 desktop PCs internet through a lan cable modem, unfortunately. allotta pcs, I know . I've never gotten close to being hacked, but I got a virus from kazaa. thank got for norton antivirus 3 month trials on xps.

Linux is a good way to stop monopolies, macrobloat to be specific. but LinuXP(or whatever windows) is a good dualboot for some people
