You should receive a Drengin.net serial number in your email. In SDC: Open the "Register Products" submenu from the "Tools" Menu. Select the Drengin.net tab and input your serial number. You should recieve another email. From the "View" Menu, click the "Show Pre-Release Versions". You should now see the beta.

Personally I used to stick with frigates, and will only build B-ships if I think its necessary. But I almost always rush for Battleship Technology solely to get the Almighty Combat Transport. Now in the latest beta, I stick with Death Knights, just because that little extra bit of offensive capabilities really helps out on the forefront. [Message Edited]

You can get Ops - basically enabling you to do all sorts of nasty things to "problem people", mostly kick/ban-related things. They're nasty if you're on the receiving end in my opinion, but they're more of the sort of things that G.R.O.S.S. would indulge in. ;) Alternatively, if you wanted, you could give everyone ops in a channel, but they could not kick/ban you as you would have a higher level than them. CNTRL-T: Click on a ship. Move the mouse somewhere else on the map. Press CNTRL-T and selected ship moves there. CNTRL-H,J,F,K,G? - I pressed one of these keys in while selecting a social project and nearly every project on the selected planet was completed. I tried to reproduce it but I'm not quite sure what I exactly did. Building social projects though possibly raises your morality level to something positive.

When researching a tech, the limit for months remaining is no longer 1000; so far I've seen a limit of 1275. Hopefully this corrects prior bugs concerning Months Remaining. Using cheats too much will make your morality turn evil. CNTRL-B: Produces a battlship. [Message Edited]

For those interested solely in the cheat keys: CNTRL-S: Whatever tech you are researching is instantly completed. CNTRL-C: Clones whatever ship you have selected. This really helps loads when entering those sectors with 5 inhabitable systems. CNTRL-V: When highlighting a ship, seems to produce a ship that is in no way connected to it, i.e. I don't know why that particular ship was chosen. My first observation is the inclusion of a button below the purchase ship button in the planet screen. Clicking this button (its the blue button that doesn't do anything in previous versions) enables you to switch from planet view to system view. You can view all of your planets in one click to viewing all of the planets in one particular system. However, it could exist in previous versions, but I'm pretty sure it didn't. Could someone verify this for me?

I've been an avid user of IRC for almsot 3 years now. I'm on most nights (EST), and occasionally stay up till the wee AM hours. I'd suggest that the Fellowship establish a channel; I could maintain it, but it would be great if others could come along. Anyone know if regular mIRC commands work on the SD servers? If anyone has any questions I can help them out as best as I can.

Wombat- No, you don't need to be an AOL member to use AIM. My family switched from AOL to another provider last year but we can still use AIM. What a relief, because I would have lost dozens of contacts and nicks of people I had met over the years. The other day I reactivated an old nick I had not used for two years. Using a disorder as a scapegoat to ease your way out of past mistakes or "slip of the tongue" incidents is no excuse. My brother has cerebral palsy that affects him to a great degree physically. Bluewulf- Total Annihilation was, and is, a great game. I think GalCiv comes in a close second in terms of the sheer number of modifications that I downloaded. I played Total Annihilation vehemently for five years before I grew exhausted of it. Other than GalCiv and a text and numbers-based MMPOG I used to play, TA has provided the best bang for the buck. Does the Zone still support it? Is the Zone still alive?
