The Yor always seem to be nice to me. Never had a problem with them getting too powerful. My main problem is that the Drengin get too powerful too early, and the Arcean then take over later in the game. I never seem to be able to be on their good side neither. Well, how cna I beat their Battle Cruiser rush? Which is the best path in research I can take without affecting too much on my "social" research. How do I make other races turn against the Drengin? I seriously can't get past that rush for about 5 games now.

Hey guys. Does anybody here agree with me that the Drengin empire is way too powerful right off the bat? I mean, I begin researching Star Fighters and they're already attacking me with Battle Cruisers. Maybe the developers had a typo in the configuration files, cause it's too unfair. Anybody have any strategies for keeping me alive for more than 10 minutes? I pay tributes and everything, but they always seem to go after me first.

Communications Theory. The yellow research buttons. You need to research that, then research the Universal Translator. Then you'll be able to understand other races. About trading, as Norin mentioned, you need to buidl Freighters and then send them to other race's planets. And it'll start trading automatically. Keep in mind that the more populated the destination and departure planets are, the more money you get. Also, the farther they are, the more money you get. Hope this helps!

Hehehe same thing happened to me. I protected my last planet, Sol, for about 30 minutes from all the other races allied together against me with just my survery ship. Weird, very weird. The more I killed, the more rewards it got and so the more powerful. I could of gone for another 30 minutes easy if I wanted to. Maybe next time I should invest more in survey ships rather then battle cruisers.

Hey guys, I got another one of those "noobish" questions here. I understand you can modify the game through some of the configuration files and all. Such as ships defense and all. I was wondering if Metaverse has some way of taking that into consideration when calculating scores? I mean, it would be too easy to score really high if I modify all my ships to be "invincible" and so on. Let me know guys, thanks!

Ok, so I was playing today at a medium sized galaxy. I started off really good. Taking over all of the desirable planets by me. Then all of a sudden, boom. Cryogenically Preserved Precursor download not working... in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Has anyone else noticed, that when you try to open the Cryogenically Preserved Precursor zip file, it will give a message saying it's possibly corrupted? I know it's not my machine because I opened the other files fine. Can a developer check on that for me? Thanks

Putting game version in the game menu...simple and very helpful... in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I'm sure that the developers of this game can add the ability to see the game version you're currently running on the corner of the main menu of the game. They've created such an awesome game, I'm sure they can do this. I would like to see it in the next few updates. I have read the description of what the 1.01 update is intended to do, and I must say that all those fixes and options are unavailable to me even after updating the game. I don't even know if the game is patched correctly. If t
