Just upgraded through SDC, everything appears to have worked just fine. Uninstalled 4.6, rebooted, installed 5, rebooted again, the configuration window popped up and took a while to load all my skins (I have wwwaaayyy too many skins in my library ), but voila, they were all there, and everything looks fine so far. I like the new look of the configuration window

I bought my copy at Wal-Mart on the way home from work, they had the best exclusive thingie...the bonus 1 hour DVD. It was an extra 5 bucks, but what the hell . Although it was hard to find in the store, all that was on display in the front was the regular 2-disc edition. People buying it last week is a very conceivable thing, because it seems to happen al

If you like shopping, I highly recommend the Forum Shops next to Caeser's Palace. One of the more unique shopping centers you'll ever see. When you're at Hoover Dam, make sure you do the touristy thing and stand with one foot in Arizona and the other foot in Nevada.

If there are copyright issues, then how come bootskins and logons are ok and a wb isn't? Ditto. I mean, I hate to be a party pooper, but the Yoda bootskin that Frogboy mentioned in his front page article is a total rip of a copyrighted wallpaper at the official Star Wars website. I don't understand

Probably going to go see War of the Worlds on Sunday, then, if Revenge of the Sith is still playing at my local theater, I'm gonna squeeze in another viewing of that on the 4th. Yes, I am a geek, and proud of it . Here in my town, they actually cancelled the fireworks display last week! They said they didn't have enough money to do fireworks on both the 4t

Yep it doest happen for once or twice but after a few runs evrey thing gets stablized and started to run smoothly ... It still happens each time I open IP, but at least I've figured out how to jiggle things to make the icon packages show up eventually. It's frustrating, but it works.

Weird, I've seemed to fix things too, but it's still kind of bizarre...since 2 people had trouble with bluecurve, I took it out of the folder last night, and nothing happened. Well, I just tried it again, and it did seem to fix the crashing window problem. But I still had a blank screen. I started clicking on things and ended up clicking on the Icon Explorer window. Icon Explorer loaded, and voila, the Icon Packager screen wasn't blank anymore, I c

Well, this sucks...Icon Packager is now completely SNAFU'd on my computer. This is what I get when I launch the program now: It's kind of hard to change icon packages when you can't see anything. I've also experienced the window closing unexpectedly. And to top it off, when I

I personally believe in life on other planets, and there have been some UFO sightings that simply defy explanation. But this one...nope, just someone being silly and a reporter being gullible. I think the proximity to Nellis AFB is a dead giveaway. It was fun to watch, but I couldn't help but think, if the guy can summon UFOs, why would they be some little orange blob miles and miles away? You'll convince me a lot better if he could summon
