Awesome update! I've heard that the AI was parking its ships next to the player instead of using it in its war against someone else and also that apparently minor factions aren't building up right (I forgot which thread mentioned this), have they been addressed as well?

Dawn of war had sync kills. It made the battles cinematic. Seeing units get killed with the same animations is boring. Also, original cool factions are a plus. Space furries, space Egyptians, space america is so damn boring. Oh and also, don't let it be a battle of who can click the most per minute. Grand strategy should be far more important than micro and dancing. Half the fun is letting a players imagination take over. My fondest memory was

After all that excessively long post about game mechanics being unrealistic, talking rocks and squirrels, etc you wanna single out xenomorph seeding as being too far fetched. Boggles my mind. I get it you dont like it, you've got too much time on your hands to go on a rant about it, and you were probably traumatized by the movie as a child hence this bizarre outpouring of emotion. Anyone else? [e digicons]:P[/e]

I don't think that your logic about a population of billions being unable to deal with an infestation is accurate. If you have a highly populated planet undefended, a single troop transport could conquer it in the game, especially with a high soldiering. You're telling me that hundreds of billions couldn't fight off a single troop transport? As far as it being impractical, the Korath used to have spore ships. How is rendering an entire planet toxic conducive

My idea is along the lines of the movie Alien. You essentially seed the target planet with hostile xenomorphs which ravage it into a 0 level planet. This would be useful for destroying important enemy planets which you don't plan on defending or dont have the ability to defend against the Ai taking it back. I'm not sure whether to make it a sort of invasion mechanic like the spore modules the Korath had or to make it a timer. Each turn that passes by

Hi I just bought this game, I was wondering if any future patches will be specifically focused on the Ai. I think the best thing about you guys is that your Ai rocks and I know that galciv 3 1.4 is specifically focused on Ai improvements. Is there a patch like this coming up? Also, I've heard people say that being evil is not as viable as being good. Will balance between the choices of characters and paths be looked at as well? What specifically?

I paid for the dread lords to return but all to often they get taken out by a single Ai. In galciv 2, you really had to make an alliance to fight them. I liked this and felt like it changed the dynamics to more of a fight together vs die alone tension. Please tell me how to get this feeling back or how to make the dread lords stronger? I really appreciate the content and really want to just increase the power of these events.

Hi I hope you can help me out on this. I edited the galciv 2 scenario with dreadlords to allow me to play as drath. Nothing more. I'm updated to the latest patch, I set the ai to just below painful, but as opposed to my regular games, the Ai mad dash for colonies doesn't happen. For turns upon turns, perfectly good free planets are available. Sure the Ai may grab a planet or two near it but then that's it. In my non scenario games there are colony ships everywhere, and most p

The dead faction needs to work better for the AI. Also, Can the diplomacy Ai work better? I often find that they'll declare war or peace very suddenly and then flip flop on it. Oh and please buff the rewards from killing those elemental lord bosses by a ton! Finally, any word on buffing underused stuff like bandit lord and adventurer and PLEASE BUFF DELIN, PYRE OF MAN SUMMON! its not worth it just for that few turns. it always bothered me how small the ice summon was. Can we

I dont have thus problem on galciv 2, but every time I try to start LH at any resolution other than the really high desktop resolution a surface usually uses, its either permanently windowed or if I try to change it in game to something owner, the start screen is off center. How can I fix this? Any help is appreciated.
