12/19/05 12:01 am Contest is officially over. A whole slew of entries at the last moment will make the judges knees shake. Thank God it didn't come to that

Yes, the contest is finally coming to an end. With just a few hours left before any more entries can be accepted the judges can begin to grade the skins/themes. It has been a great contest and the authors have presented some wonderful work. I really want to extend my gratitudes to everyone involved and those who participated. And a very special thanks to the judges and sponsors; Ms. X, SleepingDragon, IslandDog, Geyster, and Stardock Corp.<b
We couldn't just let you have all the fun for your self Studies have shown that the leading cause of death on trolls is Amusement Overdose.
LMAO. I didn't know JD was a ventriloquist
Actually, this is what a real troll would do to a mistletoe
Merry Trollmess It seems Bichur is trying to 'squeeze' himself in the tradition history book. Hmmm.... I wonder what type of gifts would be exchanged at a 'Trollmess' holiday (aside from a mop) <img src="http:
lpg85 I my self pay little mind to the spelling as I am far more interested in the event/celebration
I have an ATI RADEON 8500 and so far I had no trouble at all
You are welcome
D. Arnaez had removed the pack due to a contest issue but I have ask him to re-upload it. Hopefully he will
From what I have used/owned the Dell M993c and the NEC MultiSync FE992 are very good for graphic design. I have upgrated to a 20" NEC MultiSyns LCD that works like a charm
This is the kind of dilemma I wanted to avoid in regards to judging the contest and the reason why I would had prefer that the issues regarding the contest be brought to the table and be discussed before making any public comment. It is also the reason why I wanted the identity of the judges to be kept un-known and for the judges to maintain silence on the comment forums as their comments can be taken as preference. On this particular issue
Here is a wallpaper I made featuring a Menorah I saw on the net. Enjoy it <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smi
There was no need to remove the theme and a re-submission of it will only go against another rule (No ports, borrowed images or re-coloring of previous work.) Since the IconPack has already been uploaded it cannot participate. But with one week left on the contest you might have the chance to upload another pack. Downloads don’t count on this contest so a last minute entry has as much chance to win as a first day entry. <img src="http://images.s
With the lack of Hanukkah theme been uploaded I can only guess that not many Jewish upload these type of themes. Speaking for my self, I’m not a religious person nor I know much about any other religion except for Catholic which is the religion I was raised on/with thus the reason why any holiday theme I create is based on the things or decoration I have seen around my home throughout the years. I'll try to do some research on Hanukkah to se
You are welcome Bichur. It was done with you in mind
I have just posted an update of the contest. Unfortunately the IP by D. Arnaez was voted against acceptance do to the established rules of the contest and as BX mentioned, bending the rules can have serious impact on future contests. However, I look foward to see Dario's work on the next contest ( A Valentine Theme Contest )
This is the last week of the contest and last week to submit skins/themes. Contest will end Dec 18. There is enough time for those late entries and a chance to win one of the prizes.
Mormegil's Icons Keila's Cursor Richard Mohler's Clock Island Dog's Lights Frogboy's X-Mas Tree and my Snowman Wallpaper and Christmas Time Winamp along with an un-release WB and Rainlendar.
Can it be done? Yes it can be done. Has it been done? Yes it has been done Is it a WB skin? It could be, just as it can be the original Vista GUI. Either way, there are a few Vista style skins for WB just like the one on that screenshot
Nice collection of objects and skins for the holidays. As Moletai mentioned, the links on the last row are incorrect. Little drummer boy cursor points to the Santa WB Adni's wallpaper points to the Santa bootskin And the snowman wallpaper points to christmas time bootskin.
I have seen enough x-mas boots and logons to last me until Windows Billenium. I think logons with bitmat_100.bmp as the only altered part of the skin should be rejected upon upload. Stop been lazy and skin the other 18 images of the skin ....and that is my x-mas wish <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Ew.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle"
