I got the Carrier in the game with the texture template from TobiWahn. Also included a Vorlon Live Giver (colony ship) to get rid of the Advent model.

I've sent TobiWahn the modtool project with the texture per mail. I've also included the hard points for all weapons, hanger and exhausts.
Hi Darvroth, it has a relatively weak forward gun, and fighters. So that's fine. Is it possible to add point defense (flak like) side guns which can only target fighters? The main gun can stop being able to target fighters in this case. It's too slow for them anyway. This way the overall firepower of the ship remains, but also is in lore a nice addition. This ship was meant to be an answer to heavy figther/bomber attacks, for which the Vorlons do not typically have a good answ
Here is an example texture
Thanks TobiWahn! It seems to be the one used for the smaller vessels though; isn't it better to use the one from the siege vessel? Or is that the part where it'll look different once you render it directly? Also, am I correct in assuming that the same parts can share the same UV only if they're not expected to have a
Hi there, it's been a while since I last posted. Lots of RL and such. But, I'm still around. I've made a new version of the Vorlon carrier, more in line with the existing capital ship whilst still in line with the other new models. Carrier should be escorted as it is basically a drone fighter platform, but I've added point defense turrets. I styled them a bit like the defense turret that came out of Kosh's vessel when Sheridan and Ivanova took a look at it. Hope you like it. T
Hi guys, I've read in the 1.83-opt-in: Modders can now design ships with the ability to destroy planets. Added a new buffInstantActionType "RuinPlanet" to accomplish this. An example ability called "AbilityRuinPlanet.entity" demonstrates its usage. Something for the Vorlon Planet Killer? [e digicons]:D[/e]
No never had that problem before. Can it be related to the fighter problem (where they keep chasing each other off the map)?
So team, how close are we to a new internal and hopefully bug free release?
Sorry, been absent for a while. I'll have time to continue starting tomorrow.

I've send you my user name per mail. I'll be working on the Minbar
How about this one?
Hmm so something more omnious then uh? I'll think on it.
Working on an update, I also wanted to have the guns mounted from a cavity rather than a mount. I'll also add the horizontal 'fins' from the military tech structure. Ofcourse then I'll have to redo the armor to preserve poly's so all in all a total workover haha.
Here's a rendering for the Minbari Warrior caste space station. Emphasis on heavy armor and many fighter bays, as well as mayor guns.
Commit is pushed to the repository, thanks
Thank you! With Darvroth's commit I can now build the Minbari caste stations. Haven't had a single crash so Minbari seems stable. Now I can go back to creating the warrior caste station ;-)
Thanks! I've been trying to get this (and the religous caste station) build by the mobile constructor but that doesn't seem to work; nothing is build. @Darvroth Is that something that you've patched in your update?
How is the prototyping going for the Minbari Stations? For the link you provided, I think that might make a better Worker caste station.
I've adapted the design to be more factory like. Here's a screenshot. The scaffolds can be moved closer or further throught the magnetic rings, to fit multiple ship sizes.
Oh but I do resent autocorrection greatly, not a very mobile friendly site
Brilliant idea. I'll adapt the design. The long sideway things are also more in line with the civilian tech centre, so that workshop out fine. I'm thinking of deleting the centre 'egg' and use the stema as scaffolding. I'll find something different for the warrior caste model, and see if I can fIND synergy with the military tech station.
Military tech orbital, inverted wings and more bulky than the Civilian tech version.

@NewHorizons Hi there! Thanks for your feedback. Darvroth may very well have use for your suggestions, they seem logical indeed. For the Civ/Mil orbital stations, I've completed a civ version. For the military one I'll see what I can do with various height fins, sounds like fun. Thanks!
@Darvroth You mentioned 3 different space stations for the Minbari. I'm working on that; perhaps the example on previous pages could be the Religious one. Are there any thoughts (from ability point of view) that those caste-specific stations should do that I can take into account? For the regular military/science stations (much more numerous ingame so lower poly count) I was thinking of two similar but distinctive models in line with the culture centre (too lazy to make sc
Love that version. How many polygons?
Only 9754, for a slightly adjusted version. I'm trying some texturing with ambient occlusion now, thanks for the tips in the PM. Please take your time to organize and get well, we can wait. Grats on the mobile app by the way, very device-fit idea, I'll try it out at the office friday :-)
