As I've also come to notice, the free archer unit very early in the game is rather strong. With a unit or two just defending (or preferably with a counter attack) the archers can take down most early units. Or anything in general that you get free very early. If you manage to luck out and get a wolf token or a few rock golem statues, you've got a solid army to crush cities early. Looking at your situation though, you should be

This is a common issue for games. Anytime I switch from my monitor (1080p) to my TV (also 1080p) via an HDMI cable, games will not properly switch to full screen (and have the hitboxes in the right spot). You can fix it by going into the games resolution UI and changing to 1080p there - the game will then be full screen 1080 and work normally.
The only time I've seen missing militia is when two cities got attacked by AIs on the same turn. I was allowed to go in and fight the battle for one of them, but then the other city folded without a fight.
yeah, a few sounds are louder than others. They should do a pass on the audio and make sure it's all at similar levels so that the user choice in the options for sound level sticks. though, the lightening bow sounds need a small fix. They sound odd and clipped.
the counter attacking unit only gets one counter attack(or two in specific cases - Athican longsword) PER initiative cycle of that unit. So the slower it is, the less counter attacks it has. Which means you will get countered the first attack, but not again until the unit has its next initiative moment. So toss in something to get grinded and then attack with everything else. High initiative units can attack many time
either way, some other adjustment is likely needed. You can stay heavily encumbered and ignore the weight reduction buffs if you just add initiative buffs instead. The only thing you need to worry about is whether or not you can actually carry the armour/weapon (only matters for 'over' encumbered units - beyond the weight limit). A lack of dodge bonuses (a % penalty to dodge) would help. You're armoured, not a dancer.
Juggernauts are over-rated when you have mainly ranged/magic casting units. The only real question is - Is there a magic combination that isn't powerful? Earth+Air = don't get hit, or take little damage if hit. Plus be able to make the enemies not be able to take their turns. Fire, Death - kill everything before it reaches you Water, Life - keep units alive longer?

erm... why don't you just go in and make some custom units then? It's free that way. Remember, the AI will use your designs when you play again (though strangely it's faction based), so you can just go and make a few good units for them.
yeah, just because you don't ride them doesn't mean that they wouldn't be used for food or labour. Though, this would be a -2/-3 trait given how important horses/wargs can be in the mid-late game.
Several people reporting this fairly serious bug. It would be nice to get some kind of developer response.
It is definitely annoying. Especially when you can't station your units in the city due to the AI champion still being there.

yeah, I find a quick early war is far easier than waiting to have 'real' armies. The AI is usually messing around with outpost spam and scouting, so wandering right into a city seems very easy.
yeah, having all of their cities an outposts just disappear seems odd. I had a Gilden surrender to me when I first tried it. They still had at least 3 cities left. Having to rebuild the cities to prevent the other AIs from spamming in there is annoying.
nothing really changed for me. Though, can you stop using 'Program Data' for the dump files/etc? It's better to use the 'My Games/Elemental/etc' spot for that type of file (or the install directory). Plus, my SSD drive has enough problems containing windows (40 GB drive with 25. MB left...) I don't need more programs dumping files into a 'hidden' directory.
I had a 'deadly' army attack one of my cities today (it's recorded on twitch and starts at 38:33). After the AI wiped out most of my melee units, all I had to do was sit back and shoot the AI units that were left. They had all been severely wounded (down to a single figure) and kept running away from my two champions (one on a horse). Both champions had very weak ranged weapons, and would have been killed if
I'll check for the crash dump in a bit, but I've had the above happen to me on multiple occasions. Specifically, it's happened 3 times now while I'm using xsplit to stream on twitch (twice in a row today). So it's a repeatable bug and the steps are recorded on video. How to recreate: before ending the turn select an AI army. End turn.
Preferably you can upgrade these sites to get better units. Why would anyone care about darklings/wilding allies when you can mass slaughter them in your sleep? The shamans and warg riders can be nice sometimes, so why not allow getting them somehow?
I'm basically running this in my LP vids. No iron, no crystal, only a few shards and one horse stable. Horses+spears = good enough hopefully.
yeah, the problem is when units that have AoE attacks target someone who is only a tile or so from themselves. They won't 'offset' target, so end up hitting themselves as well. It would make the AI a bit more dangerous if they actually offset the center of the AoE to not include themselves (or allies). Juggernauts are fun when you position 1 unit next to the rest of their army so that the Jug can wipe their allies out.
yeah... Spiders/etc target ranged units for web/beguile. They shouldn't and it should be changed to have them specifically target melee units. I've even seen two spiders cast web on the same archer unit (the first web worked, so the 2nd spider shouldn't have tried).
looks like something happened in the last day or two as FE is now in the list (elemental: FE) - makes it easier for people to find channels. for my channel: http://www.twitch.tv/maddjinn I have 2 parts of a Kraxis/expert/expert game already up there. It's definitely not 'clean' strategy yet, but I'm still learning the game (having played only a few games so far). &nb
yeah, that would explain what happened in my live stream yesterday. The game crashed during the stream (end of turn crash, when I had selected a skath army to look at before hitting end turn) so I reloaded from an autosave. As the autosave was from a few turns back, I was a little surprised to see a wonder get completed when hitting end turn - when it wasn't completed the first go around. So.. it's not for reload protection, but for
yup, this happens. Though it's 'uncommon' for them to raze cities.
I'm getting ready to start streaming some FE LP's and have run into a problem with twitch.tv not including FE on it's list of games :( Wasn't sure where to put this, but if anyone knows how to poke them (maybe Stardock has to?) to get it on the list, I'd be happier. twitch.tv doesn't let you enter custom game names, so I've cheated it a bit and used 'Elemental'.
