Deleting custom factions issue in Galactic Civilizations III GalCiv3 Forums

Can someone explain? I've created several factions...over 30. In a few cases, I found better pics after creating the faction. I "copied," changed, and "deleted" the original. They won't go away. Lol, both versions remain in the menu. When I change a faction, but keep the pic, the original can be deleted. How do I delete a faction where I don't use the original pic anymore? It's very confusing to start a new game because I can't distinguish between the two versions when add

Can someone help with a very remedial question? The game keeps prompting me when I have an "idle colony." I can't figure how to end turn WITHOUT building something new. Can't I simply let the colony sit and continue? Do I HAVE to build until all tiles are full? Thanks

Custom portraits spawning in GalCiv Beta Feedback GalCiv3 Forums

Has anyone else encountered this? I put a custom portrait or Leader pic in the proper file, and then check it. It works fine. I'm able to create a custom race using it. Then, I decide it doesn't quite fit the "feel" I had in mind, so I delete it from the files on my computer. I can see it's gone. Then when I restart the game, they are still there. Furthermore, the pic has returned to the file on my computer? Any idea how it's coming back? Any suggestions?

Arakis, that's exactly what I meant. If I had a good game going, I took control of each civ. Often I used the cheat to improve planet quality around them and give them some cherry planets. It was even more fun doing that for the minors.

I've read on other posts that GalCiv3 does have cheat codes. 1) How do you enable them? 2) Is there a list anywhere? My use of cheat codes in GalCiv2 was always to make the current game better. I loved using the code to play as the computer race. When I came across an opponent that had the potential to do well, but wasn't making the proper choices, I'd take him over and "point him in the proper direction." If this involved colonizing a planet or two for him
