My questions: 1) How does StarDock support modding of the game? Various competitions? Events? All seems very silent right now. 2) What are the plans for the current SCO? New expansions? Hey, is there anything happening in the Starcontrol Realm? It seems to be kinda quiet for more than a month... 1) How is Earth Rising Syndicate? 2) What about ports to consoles? 3) What about Star Control Origins 2? 4) Any info on the ghost of the precursors? Damn, this is serious. I think that in such case you shall ask help of other developers (besides general public) and show them how destructive this path is. That besides Stardock they can be next. I do not think that this issue is obvious to them. As for the general public - most people think (like I did) that this endangers only SCO and no other game. Ok, we do not have to call it Director`s cut or something. It is just an idea, an umbrella term for a more fleshed out, expanded, user friendly game. My main points are: 1) New content shall come our regularly. Esp. if it pertains to lore. Damn, that might mean years of delay. So I guess one shall focus on small expansions for SCO to keep the interest in the franchise and keep the cash flow coming. Not a bad idea after all. Esp. if you can move to consoles and phones/ipads type of thing. Paid (even though I hate it) ship sets for melee to invest in story expansion to SCO. Any ideas re Villans of SC for GalcivIII? Guys, I think it makes sense to spend some time discussing a possible patch/expansion to SCO that I would call a Director`s Cut (DC). I think that it might even be sold rather than a free expansion|patch. So here are some ideas from me: 1) Make exploration more interesting. I have visited EVERY star and planet (save for Gas Giants) that are currently available in SCO. It is a bit boring to get the same modules every time after exploration of Ruins, Wrecks etc. So the ide

I think another expansion is a must. Develop a lore a bit more, add some additional features (Quasi Space, Below Space (even if these are just additional @layers@ of the main hyperspace (sector) map) etc.), more assets across the whole board (stars, planet types and planet visuals (where are the ringed planets????, comets??, black holes), ruins, stations, ships, modules, aliens, critters, even mineral types), tweak the tools a bit. You can still start your work on the sequel in the meantime:)
